It's still Tues here, although Friday sounds good.

All you can do if you are unhappy with your job is look for one elsewhere and pray that God will open a new door, somewhere better than where you are now and then wait, the hard part.
I'm trending towards Friday.

No its now wednesday, you a bit out Ruby

am pondering what to do. I want to leave early but there is still lots to do.To finish a job cos its my nature rather than cut and run...its the children I will miss.

i cant face job hunting again..done it so many times that am used to having doors slammed in my face. too qualified, too far away, low paid, tryannical boss, nowhere to park, no way of getting there, 'hit the ground running' , no training, doing the job of three people, multitasking, minimum wage, 90 day trial etc etc. Why would anyone want to work in nz is my question.
Sounds problematic at best.

My confession is that I am feeling frustrated with God.
I felt that way yesterday at work. I talk to God all day long but there are times that I wonder if He is even listening to me. It would be nice if just once Jesus actually appeared, patting me on the shoulder and saying, "Everything is going to be OK. No worries here".

What happened at the library? Seems like you were a fixture there. I understand full well the frustration with God. Fortunately, God is full of compassion and mercy and understands the human condition quite well. I like that word 'kibosh' and also 'nosh'. Food to feed on.

Lord
You can move the mountains
My God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save

Please save us! Especially those names youve written in your special book. Which is in the library.

Good to know that the Book of Life is safe in the library.

It's probably stuck in your closet on the floor behind the clothes that are hanging. Either that, or underneath your bed.
Did I tell you I had a 'magic' cupboard?

Or rather, a wardrobe thats a portal into a fantastic land.

My closet is a prayer closet, but I actually just shelve the Bible in the place whwre its meant to be at 220 in the dewey decimal system

My local library doesn't even bother with a dewey decimal system. Books are generally clumped together either by genre or author. That makes it difficult to find a specific book. I plan on going there this morning. That library has saved me a lot of money for sure. That wardrobe portal angle could possibly be worked into a book of some sorts. Sorta like having your own personal Twilight Zone. Oh, beware also of looking under the bed. :)
