If the tape's magnetic field reversed would the music play backwards?
Well, the magnetic field is either in line, or out of line with the direction of tape play. :) The tape would have to play in reverse to play music backwards. If the polarity was reversed, the music would probably play the same. All the tape head does is measure the change in polarity across a moving tape.

You learn something new every day. I appreciate you bringing partly out of the stone age. I'm almost ready to try an automobile that you don't have to stop with your feet.

no one knows a rabbit hole is there till someone steps in it
That's true but my feet seem to have some secret radar or sonar that is on the same frequency as rabbit holes. We all have our burdens to bear. Paul got thorns. I got rabbit holes.
By the way, you aren't helping :)

In His own words:

Exodus 34:5-7

5And the LORD descended in a cloud, stood with him there, and proclaimed His name, the LORD. 6Then the LORD passed in front of Moses and called out:

“The LORD, the LORD God,
is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger,
abounding in loving devotion and faithfulness,
7maintaining loving devotion to a thousand generations,
forgiving iniquity, transgression, and sin.
Yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished.
He will visit the iniquity of the fathers
on their children and grandchildren
to the third and fourth generations.”

Several things can be known about God from the very first chapter of
Genesis.

1» God is a sentient being
2» God has a mind
3» God is spirit
4» God has a voice
5» God has a very high IQ
6» God is creative
7» God controls the natural laws of physics
6» God appreciates sovereignty and chains of command.
7» God is a critic

From the third chapter we can know:

1» God cares about the human condition
2» God has standards of right and wrong, i.e. good and evil.
3» God has a conscience

From Lev 26:11, Lev 26:30, Judg 10:16, Isa 42:1, Jer 32:41, & Zech 11:8,
we can know that God has a soul, viz: there's a core to His being, and
He has feelings and sensitivities.

There are sincere folks at large sincerely believing God is unemotional, i.e.
He never gets upset. Well; I think that any honest reading of the Bible will
readily attest that God does get upset, and it's very possible for Him to be
annoyed, disgusted, and utterly fed up. Time and time again, the Old
Testament reveals that God is capable of extreme prejudice; i.e. rage and
violent unrelenting reprisal.
