Thnx for your time and input on this. I still get caught up with some of these humanist groups. I watched the entire video and wrote down all of the 'subtleties' the Rabbi's state as though they are quoting Bible. I didn't count the number but around 12. Still interesting to me since the start of video talks of the way I also found book of Job so appealing. Why?????? Not wealthy or upright!!! ...Maybe just the history of Job and his situation fascinates or intrigues something in us. One statement towards end of video claims the author of chapters when God replies is Shakespeare of the Bible. Saying who wrote those chapters is not same as rest of book. Maybe entire book is Shakespeare of the Bible. i.e. Holy Spirit inspired Genesis to Revelation. Doesn't matter the person on earth, could have been any scribe.

When they started giving God human traits and saying He was not omniscient and giving Him counselors I couldn't go further. I knew it would be more of the same.
They missed the great messages to us in the book of Job. I'll list a few:
1. God is always worthy of worship regardless of our circumstances.
2. God can be trusted in all things, including death.
3. Suffering is always designed for us to know God more intimately.

I'm sure that's true for far too many. But read Job 42:5. Also, consider that James implores his readers to count it all joy when they are in the difficulties of life. The work that God does under these circumstances for the improving of His people allows them to become more than conquerors in Christ.
If one never moves past their circumstances to the God of the circumstances, they will never come to an intimate knowledge of Him.

This goes far beyond simple ignorance and inaccuracy. This is a systematic and purposeful attempt to paint God black.
At first, I was contemplating telling you not to watch this video, but I have changed my mind.
This is a showcase of the vileness of Satan and his children, many of whom hold positions in modern seminaries. At the end, God is likened to Hitler, and the latter part of Job (were the incident is explained and the lesson and purpose revealed) is relegated to myth.
The video is evidence that Satan is alive and well and in the video-making business.
Job is not a mystery.
Job is a glorious testament to the love of God and the lengths He will go to in order to refine, purify, and make us all that we can be.
Job, like all the rest of us, started out as a person with lots of growing room.

In a sense isn't Job 42:5 a wake up call to self righteous people? Or maybe like some who think they are "Christian"? A RC friend would tell me of some one he knew that is what he called a 'born again'. Now this was before I became 'born again' what my friend was calling "born again". So now when we talk we still at times refer to the 'born again' and the difference, if any compared to RC'. So I tell him that if the 'F' word was not part of his vocabulary he wouldn't have much to say. Now maybe Job 42:5 is something to mention to him but he is probably like most RC's I know: none have read the Bible. RC's use RC books if any. This one guy though reads a 18th century RC priest: Fenelon. Fenelon apparently says a few things that make sense.

I am pleased to hear your outrage with this video. I know we should all have a contemptuous view of those trying to deceive. It seems that most of the commentators on this video were associated with Jewish organizations. I have been reading Romans 11:18 and commentaries and wondering how and if that fits in with what the makers of these kind of videos are doing?

Even the traditional Jews have honor and reverence for God the Father. The men in this video are children of the devil. They go beyond ignorance and misunderstanding and embark on a quest to desecrate the holiness and goodness of God. This is a concerted effort to dethrone the Almighty and defile His message of love.
I don't see that verse that way. What it does relate to me is that there is much more to God than any of us have come to know and understand. And that as God navigates the circumstances of our lives He is doing so to make more of Himself known to us.
I think Piper put it well: God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.
It is difficult to be satisfied in a God you neither know nor understand.
