Does anyone know what is the highest altitude from which this can be done. Since the earth isn't a perfect sphere does that mean the maximum theoretical altitude for a jump varies according to global position?
Good question, but above my pay grade. I was surprised he was able to free fall from 24+ miles. Some say that there's a Van Allen belt that is highly radioactive. I don't know this to be true or if it was propaganda to discourage space exploration/ travel by competitors.
The other thing I'd like to know is what temperature it was from his jump station. He mentioned the cold when he started into the atmosphere, so that indicates that there was no wind temperature effect until then. Meteorites burn at entry. They are traveling so fast that the effect that air has is friction to the point of incredible heat.

Almost certain Van Allen belt much further up. At what point do they quit thinking of up and gravity (which may one day be redefined)allows you to float towards or away from like some sci fi portray. Gravity is something to do with effects of mass and there was puzzling questions Einstein would consider about weight vs mass. When I was collecting remuneration for showing up at Jet Propulsion Laboratory not that many people there concerned themselves with science. I spent some time roller skating and worked independently on project goldbrick. We would paint boxes gold and attach them to helium balloons. The people there generally tried to keep any monies from DoD out. I left to a company that did lots of DoD work and some people thought that bad. At JPL first time woman there trying to get me to follow L. Ron Hubbard. One guy was Christian and some of us heard his Christian tapes and said he was listening to Mickey Mouse. Maybe good thing I left. I was at auto dealer and when sales asked where I worked he gave me a stare and said you don't look like one of them. LOL>>LOL Maybe place like that is not so good for Christians to be. Now I have been in contact with AoG and a preacher there was with Fermi Labs near here and I sent him kind of gruff email when he sent me email about wonders of James Webb Space Telescope. Yea nice pictures but he should be talking Jesus. But Anita who referred me to him and likes him knows my animosity about somethings and we have beneficial relationship for me. AoG is ok with me and I got good sense you know my not going to use word like never. Never may be ok for some I can't see it. Sorry about rambling so long but my synapses must be in overdrive.

Scroll to animals much more humorous. Dog running from leaves, Certain reactions animals have is probably what some of those who think they are on to some great discovery by study of same is interesting and humorous.NO doubt these brothers would win EVERY carnival game that ever existed.

Hopefully no repeat & more about food so I stop at Sears and my dog Fredric waits in car and I come back with hamburger from Sears cafeteria and when I taste it, well it could gag a maggot, so here you go Fredric and he couldn't eat it either. Sears Craftsman hamburger with life time guarantee probably still exists to this day some where in meta verse possibly. True story. Also reminds me that McD's once had Big n' Tasty burger which surprise was fit for human consumption and that one was eliminated from menu. The book 'Cow' was interesting about 1 cow purchased to follow to end becoming McD's hamburgers. I wonder if McD's Big n' Tasty went due to name Big n' Nasty. Now with agriculture being, right or wrong, vilified for GHG's will that also change husbandry and get better care for animals or worse care and antibiotic reduction which apparently bleeds over to super bug escalation. Maybe feeding animals properly would help.
Yes, I agree. It's all profit driven with no care about the livestock or the people who they are food for. My local Sears is long gone. Do you know if corporate still covers lifetime warranty on their hand tools?

Like, just playing cards with some friends to pass the time? Nothing at all wrong with that.
Now if you're betting, playing for money, that's bad stewardship... even if you win. You're taking what God gave you and risking it on a random card shuffle.
Me, I don't have the money to lose so I never gamble... But then I don't like playing cards either.
When I played poker as a kid, I know that money changed things. It wasn't like playing UNO. At the time I was not aware of what "covetous" meant. I just know that those who play for big stakes start with the small. Too many it has turned into an addiction with an innocent purchase of a lottery card or few quarters in a slot machine, BINGO clubs. I'm not hear to judge you or anyone else. I'm just sharing the nutshell of my observations of many lives that had regrets from that.
