We are all born into this world by natural birth as unregenerate sinners, and were by nature, the children of wrath, even as others, But God, which is rich in mercy, for his great love, wherewith he loved us, EVEN WHEN WE WERE DEAD IN SINS, hath quickened us together with Christ.(Eph 2)
God quickened us when we chose to believe the gospel.

Eph 2:8-9 - For we are saved by (God's sovereign) grace, through Christ's faithfulness in going to the cross (Gal 2:16), and that NOT OF OURSELVES, it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast. Spiritually dead people (unregenerate) cannot accept a spiritual gift, from a spiritual God, that they think is foolishness (1 Cor 2:14). and will not come just as they are.
The gift is salvation by faith, not the faith to believe. God wants all people to be saved (1 Tim 2:4), He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Pet 3:9). A natural person can choose to seek God, and when he does, and decides to believe the gospel, he becomes born again.

The quickening of God (being born again) comes as a gentle breeze, you do not realize where it came from, nor where it goes. As for myself, I do not know when I was born again, but I have the assurance that I was.
You were born again when you decided to believe the gospel (Eph 1:13).

A lot of God's children think that their conversion was their new birth, which may be your case.
It was.

Christ died for those that come to Jesus, and they are those that his Father gave to him (John 6:37-40). and Jesus said that he would not lose any of them, but would raise them up at the last day.
Christ died for everyone. Those who choose to believe the gospel are the ones that become saved.

God's sheep are his elect. John 10:26-29 - But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you, my sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, and I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my Father's hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all, and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Anyone can choose to become one of God's elect.

Calvinism isn't true.

The point is that God was sorry that He had made man. It was not God's purpose or plan to be sorry that He had created man.
Have you ever thought that God regrets creating human beings because the beautiful girls of human beings let those angels lost the direction of it should be? The subtext is, why don't I directly create angels but created beautiful girls of human LOL

1 Tim 2:4 - Saved=delivered. We are delivered once for eternal life, but we are delivered many times as we sojourn here on earth. There is a deliverance for the regenerated when they come unto a knowledge of the truth, but that is a deliverance that they receive here on earth. This same deliverance is indicated in Rom 10:1-3.

2 Pet 3:9 - We have to go back to 2 Pet 1:1 to see who Peter is speaking to in 3:9, and it is them that have obtained like precious faith. even including himself, by using the word "US-WARD". Peter is giving them instructions to repent when they commit a sin so as to come back into fellowship with their God.

Perish=death=separation. When a child of God commits a sin, they separate themselves from their fellowship with God, temporary, until they repent.

1 Cor 2:14, explains the natural man's limited ability to seek a spiritual God, and believe in spiritual things. They are actually foolishness unto him. A Person has to be quickened to the new spiritual life in order to understand spiritual things.

Eph 1 is not talking about the natural man, but is talking about the saints that are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus who were predestined to be adopted as God's children

I get accused of this all of the time. I have never read any of Calvin's writings, or any other man's writings about the scriptures. I believe the scriptures prove themselves when they harmonize with each other.

Acts 16
30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
What Paul was talking about is that they would be saved by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. They wanted the whole family to get saved, not just the jailer.

If I remember right, you belong to a Primitive Baptist church. They are extremely Calvinist.

Apologies if my memory has failed me.

You assign your own definition because as stated: "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." it contradicts your belief.

Do you think anyone in the information age doesn't know the name of Jesus?
They just don't want to accept it because of their own selfish desires.
As far as the situation is concerned, preaching the gospel is a joke.
I’ve spoken to people, especially the younger generation, who claimed to have never heard of Jesus. Christianity has been mostly removed from many mainstream outlets.

People don’t hear about Jesus at school, on the news, from their family, from their friends, in books, magazines, video games, or the internet in general. If they do it’ll be few and far between and they’ll probably have to specifically search for this information.

Nowadays, even in the USA, it’s possible to not hear about Jesus ever unless someone goes and preaches.

Look at Rom 11:26, he's talking about "all Israel", not "all of Israel".

Look at Rom 9:6, "All Israel =/= all of Israel".

Rom 11:28-32 is only talking about Israel the spiritual body (that has or will turn to Christ) and not about all of the genetic progeny.

Keep Romans in mind and now look back at 1 Chron 16:13. That passage is clearly not stating that all children of Israel are chosen. That passage is addressing chosen ones that happen to be children of Israel.

There are Israelites that are chosen (but not all Israelites). I've seen zero scriptural evidence for the concept that the "nation of Israel" was ever chosen. The only chosen nation referenced in scripture very strongly seems to be the nation in Christ.
Read the following very carefully Jocund.

2 Samuel 7:23-24
And what one nation on the earth is like Your people Israel, whom God went to redeem for Himself as a people, and to make a name for Himself, and to do a great thing for You and awesome things for Your land, because of Your people whom You have redeemed for Yourself from Egypt, from other nations and their gods? For You have established for Yourself Your people Israel as Your own people forever, and You, Lord, have become their God.

The nation of Israel (one nation) is a chosen nation among all the nations of the earth.

Your people Israel as Your own people forever

I've seen zero scriptural evidence for the concept that the "nation of Israel" was ever chosen
That is the evidence.

'Nation' and 'people' are two different things.

It is possible to have a people without a nation. Do you disagree?

Strange question.

God chose Israel, the nation and the people. In fact, He marked out the boundaries of their territory, they were predestined to inhabit.

Nation: a large body of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language, inhabiting a particular country or territory.

Israel are the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Jesus was sent to the Jews, Jesus was not sent to any other nation.

God chose Israel, the nation
No. Only Israel the spiritual people, not "Israel the nation". Look at the phrasing of each of the passages.

Israel are the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
No. Incorrect. Read Romans 9.

Jesus was sent to the Jews, Jesus was not sent to any other nation.
Lost sheep of Israel =/= "nation of Israel"

Again, do you agree or disagree that it is possible to have a people without a nation? 'Nation' and 'people' are not the same thing.

Israel was never a chosen nation.
