or maybe they are workaholics and do themselves out of a job and get burned out lol
most likely not. being active is good for the mind, the body and the soul. neither lazy people or workaholics enjoy life

you appear to be just another rude and crude individual who thinks everyone is like one lump sum of stupid because they don't agree with you

smh
of course you disagree

you don't seem to like it when people think for themself and don't agree with you

Then instead of getting upset that I qoute scripture and have an oppinion, why not ask questions for clarification or start conversation?
why not give me a verse that contradicts my quotations and statement?
Why not wait for clarification that I explicitly noted would be incoming?

Because you can't. You are a poor confused little pupper that needs instruction, but based on your vitriolic responses so far I believe that you would shun such a thing.

If you aren't then show fruit worthy of repentance and "to do good and comunicate forget not, for in such sacrifice the LORD is well pleased" or at least reply with some scripture signifying that you do, in fact, know your bible instead of crying like a spoiled child that someone said something you disagree with.

So far in the almost dozen comments I've seen from you, that have all occured since last night, all you do is toss vitriol and call names with no intelligent conversation or reason.
Chill out little puppers. Go get a treat and come back when you're felling better. We will still be here happy to chat as brother and sister should.

Hahahahahahaahah.
You are so full of vitriol about this that you can't even reply to the proper reply.

I believe you may need a time out friend. When I get that mad I try to take a deep breath and go do something else for a while.

God bless :)

I am not the one who is upset. You might have the last word wherever you are from but this is a discussion forum

People do not have to agree with you and honestly? it is somewhat over the top to think only you have the answers here

I do not hate God and for you to claim we all hate God is more or less your own belief so maybe deal with that

perhaps you need to get over the fact I disagree with both your flat earth beliefs and your opinion that everyone hates God

do you hate God? if you think everyone hates God, then maybe you are just posting about yourself

Maybe people get married too quickly and realize they're not compatible

My husband and I met, married and had our first child in under a year. Our marriage lasted because we were committed to each other. It's not about gushy feelings, compatibility and all, it's about commitment, understanding what real love is and loving God first.

Maybe we were the exception to prove the rule though.

I don't think you've been paying attention to my comments......

According to God
"There is none that doeth good, none who seek after wisdom"
That's bible.
Goncheckmout John 1 if you still have issue with my statements.
So, to answer your question, and according to BIBLE, yes, I loke all other men and women hate God and His commandment. I am a man and if i do what I want then I will do evil, same as every other man and woman and child. This is why God tells us to pursue wisdom and to fear Him. He will bring us to life and joy everlasting. We won't take us there

This is "ChristianChat" let's at least pretend that we are Christians here and followers of The Word and not our own understanding, (there is a verse about that, I won't insult you by saying where cause "you know your bible")

You still have not given scripture for your reasoning. That is the only thing that will work with me friend. If you don't believe in scripture then your wasting your time arguing with me. The Word is true and we are lairs by comparison.

right

the thing is I HAVE paid attention to your comments and disagree

again, your comment about everyone hating God is your opinion

I am saved by the blood of Christ, I know God my Father loves me and sent His only Son to die on my behalf

who are you to say we all hate God? how long have you been a Christian? I wonder when someone makes a remark that seems to indicate they may not understand how it is we are beloved of God and we love Him back when we come to understand we are nothing without Him

as for scripture, you will find all of that through the entire Bible. you can choose to believe in God's love or not just as you have decided or seem to believe, we all hate God

that statement is just not at all true and John would say to you that we love Him because He first loved us

John wrote parts of the Bible. you certainly have not and the Bible is not at your disposal to misinterpret

apparently you may not know the reason God sent His Son to die for us is because He wanted us back in relationship with Him. A believer in Christ is no longer estranged from their Creator. I am sorry you seem to prefer condeming people rather than praising God for His salvation of those same people

no you haven't puppers.... no you haven't.

again, your comment about everyone hating God is your opinion
No, it is not my opinion, this is bible. (granted, a simplification, but true nonetheless.)

I am saved by the blood of Christ, I know God my Father loves me and sent His only Son to die on my behalf
yes? we are only saved by the Blood of Christ, what is your point? and why is your point at odds with me quoting bible?
how is this in any way a rebuttal of my statement and the verses quoted? why are we saved by the blood of Christ? why did we need Gods only Son?

how long have you been a Christian?
doesn't actually matter, but it's in my bio. I have been a Christian since I was 4 and I am now 31.

John would say to you that we love Him because He first loved us
huh.... I wonder why He needed to do that?

John wrote parts of the Bible. you certainly have not and the Bible is not at your disposal to misinterpret
you are right, i did not write it and good thing too because it would be a lot messier if I had hahahahah.
but, if scripture is to be believed, then neither did John. God did.
but if i am misinterpreting by quoting scripture then are you the authority by which I must understand scripture? like the pope? or like the prophets of the LDS church? or maybe Pharaoh?
The bible is at my disposal to read, the bible is mine to study, the bible is mine to memorize, and the bible is mine to follow, among a great many other things. also, God expects me to take advantage of the opportunity to know it, because, "to whom much is given, much shall be required."
the thing I think you are having issue with is that the bible is also mine to understand as it is written and to quote. we are supposed to be mindful of the scriptures, supposed to "write them upon the tables of our hearts" as it were, and "get/purchase over all else" and to "fear" and to "not add to or subtract from".

are you aware that God left us with a Book that explicitly lays out His expectations and ordinations?
are you aware that in His teachings Jesus demanded that we follow after His example of perfect submission to God?
need i remind you that this is "ChristianChat"? this is supposed to be a site where we can hash out difficult things without great worry of being misunderstood by the Godless and heathen masses. this is a place where we are supposed to be able to speak of the heavy things of scripture and encourage and admonish in the Word by the Spirit of Truth. we must be washed by the blood and constantly be renewed by the renewing of our minds into the likeness of Christ and out/away from our own likeness.
"we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people who should show forth the praises of Him who hath called us out of darkness and into His marvelous Light." if we look like the world, then there is no difference and we are the world

the thing is I HAVE paid attention to your comments
it does not appear that you have not been paying attention or even trying to understand. the bible tells us to "make our bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God, which is our reasonable service".
Jesus tells us in John 6 "any who do not eat my flesh and drink my blood, there is no life in them." coming from Jesus....... this means something a lot more than what it would coming from anyone else, you know, Him being "The Life" and all.
Paul also explains
"16If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.".
but wait...... Paul's been made a new creature...... why is he still struggling with this? and where did this "sin", "flesh" and this "evil" come from?

see, you aren't paying attention.
I'm not trying to belittle you (sans the fun nickname :) ), I'm trying to make the point clear that, in ourselves, we are evil, in ourselves, we hate God.
this is the majesty of the Gift of God, of our Savior, of Jesus. By His Blood we are washed and made clean and freed from Sin. but the finished work of the recreation isn't done yet. it will be. that is Jesus promise to us and He says so in revelation. when He returns He will make us new and all sin and disease, and wickedness and (sad) tears will be purged from us and we will live and reign forever with our King and our God.

so, to reiterate:
naturally, we hate God. we all do. but by His mercy and our obedience to Him. we can choose to love Him, and thankfully, it gets easier every time we do it.
maybe we are having a misunderstanding of our definitions of Love and that is our issue here.
quite possibly a misunderstanding of Love is a chief reason, if not the chief reason, why most marriages don't work.

if there is disagreement between us, please explain......

Im thinking it that most marriages dont work because both are incompatible or marry for wrong reasons, the whole unequally yoked thing

But of course if you are equal it will work out. However not many people marry their equivalent or equal.

You can stick out a marriage and there will be good times and bads but for some the bad times are so bad that they want out. Not many are willing to put up with prolonged, daily abuse.

Its not an exclusively christian thing to boast of a long lasting marriage. For some esp in cults, the men have all the power and the wives have to keep sweet, pray and obey. Even if their husband is raping them as its supposedly their marital or conjugal right.

The other thing is divorce can be so financially draining that its better to be rich and unhappy than poor and free for some.

I have heard of some thinking having more children will save a marriage. But children often can do very little to save their parents marriage if they are at each others throats.

Yeah the everyone hates God argument is just silly.
That reminds me of this time at church we had this guest speaker and he said God will not bless your marriage if you were married in the courthouse.
My late wife and I were married at the courthouse
At that point, I put in my earbuds and turned on some music. I wasn't interested in hearing anything else he had to say

marriage is for richer or poorer, for better or worse, in sickness or in health some find they become poorer or worse off and sick (or their spouse is) but they are not willing to stick with them- the person they have chosen to be with until they die.

When you make a vow, you must mean what you say otherwise its worthless.

I am so up to here with what others think God is saying to everyone but them

I grew up in a church that did not have a one stop for all your needs pastor in charge of everyone ... which is not even biblical

Instead, that church had elders that served and would take turns and I about wish I could attend a church like that again

the arrogance of so many so called pastors is not the biblical model and neither is a board of directors

I can only guess that some of the people coming here to preach at everyone may not have an audience to listen to their quacking so they come here and rejoice in the captive audience where they can just spout off and act superior. the other thing that is happening far too often here, are some members that think they are in charge and will follow a person around making comments

this forum has changed since I first joined some years back. I wish some of the members that are gone had stayed.

You see a lot of such foolishness in the charismatic churches. Some of these pastors really need to get over themselves

I agree. Even though I do believe the 'gifts' are for today, the abuse and wrong interpretations , and making superstars out of people who run around with the mistaken identity of 'prophet', or so called worship leader or 'healer', has made a mockery of what is genuine. I don't wonder why so many say these gifts are past. So much fakery and what amounts to heresy and/or mockery has turned many churches into a circus with 3 rings and the clowns disguised as leadership

But we also have the flip side where people have a service from 11 am to 12 noon and much of it is spent checking the time on their watch and liberal churches that allow lesbians and homosexuals in the pulpit.

My personal favorites are the ones who always have a 'message' from God and you should just accept it even though the Bible teaches discernment and warns against 'itching ears'.

There was this preacher from California who used to come to our church maybe two or three times a year and for some reason everyone thought he was the best thing since sliced bread.
Called himself a prophet.
I knew right away he was a charlatan
But he would do is he would throw out what I like to call shotgun prophecies, otherwise known as Barnum statements
Make sure to keep everything vague
"Someone here tonight is struggling with something and looking for a message from God"
Okay. You just described everyone in the room
And then he had this "school for prophets', $70 per class
I remember one time he said "I know you can't buy a prophecy but when someone sews into you spiritually, you have an obligation to respond in the physical"
That was a slick way of saying and give me your money
I had no idea why everyone was so enamored with this guy
