Eloheim is another name for the Supreme God.
Actually, it isn't. Though Elohim is used of God, it is neither uniquely used of Him nor is it a name. It is a plural word meaning "non-corporeal intelligent entity". In addition to God, the word is also used of angelic/divine beings and even the disembodied spirit of Samuel.

Not sure that you can separate them easily.

John 14:7
If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.
If you had known me, you would have known My Father also. He didn't say he was the Father, as the Son you can share the loving characteristics of your Father. John 14:2 In my Father's house, he isn't saying In my house.
Verse 6. Jesus saith I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the FATHER but by me.
Mark 13:32 Mark 9:1-11. Mark 16:19

I'm sorry you feel that way, I do notl feel that asking the question about the original Hebrew name of Jesus to be inappropriate on a Christian forum, and yes it matters to me a great deal as does plenty of others who choose to use a different name than Jesus, that is closer to his original name. The Bible states that every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth (Phil 2:10) so I feel it would be proper to know that name in its authentic form.
I personally feel that after praying about it, the answer gets revealed.
I don't quite know what you mean by, What spirit am I doing it in?
I would of thought it was obvious🤔
I take it you know there is a thread on God's name in the forum?
They are important threads.
All Jesus cares about is that you love Him and make Him your Lord and Savior. It's not about words. It is about a personal relationship. Do you have a personal relationship with your Maker? (That question is for everyone.)

Thanks. I had been wondering about the that. It is good to know definitions for the sake of communicating betwixt ourselves. (y)

I find it strange that we have differing opinions on God's name but not on Jesus name, the majority of people all say Jesus even though the Hebrew language doesn't have any J sounds, and it didn't come into the English language until the 16th century. 'The Bible tells us that "There is no other name which to be saved with' shows the importance surely.
All replies welcome
I have heard a number of differing opinions on the pronunciation of Jesus' name, some not worth repeating.

Many Messianic Jews pronounce it as 'Yeshua'.

in the beginning after man fell and we’re building the Tower of Babel a response to sinful mankind and tbier wicked imaginations

“And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. ….Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭11:1, 7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Then there’s the restoration and new beginning after mans language was confounded and people spoke different languages for this purpose he would need to restore communication so all could hear what was first preached in Israel in Aramaic and Hebrew languages

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

this would require many diverse languages which meant to t forminstance the Greek pronounciation of the name Jesus
“And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilæans? And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:7-8,

God was restoring mans ability to clearly communicate in order that we could share the gospel to all creatures regardless of what language they speak of how they pronounce words and names

what I’m saying is God speaks and understands any language we don’t have to worry about mispronouncing his name and we don’t have tomlewrn ancient Hebrew or Aramaic to hear and believe the gospel and be a Christian

the lord is able to bypass barriers like how we say a word it’s more about what to word means To us God isn’t a grammar police he’s about our heart and mknd and soul and life not about which language we learned as children

if an ancient Israelite said “ yeshua “ or a Greek yet the gospel was declared says “ Jesus “ God understands who’s name we’re calling upon

op: The Name Of The LORD Jesus Christ?
Yes, I speak English, and that is "The Name" God Taught me
to use. I have no problem if the Hebrews use "Yeshua" when
they "speak their own language."

The problem is with "mixing up Different languages" which
just confuses people, and then they "won't hear" The Truth.

Grace, Peace, And JOY G In Christ, And In His Word Of Truth, Rightly
Divided

When I pray it is from my heart. I suspect God knows what I mean and understands my short comings. I would have to disagree with the comment however about God and Jesus are separate. It’s no different then if God was water, Holy Spirit the steam and Jesus the ice; they are all 3 still water. God of heaven, God of the flesh and God of the spirit is all one God. We do not live in the spirit world nor in heaven but we do in the physical world and God left a piece of himself in each.
I think we forget because of how hard it is to truly take in that God is outside of time and space. He is more then we can understand so our brains try to limit Him or put Him in a box.
The Holy Trinity is One.

I'm sorry I have to disagree, the Bible clearly tells us that Jesus is the son of God more than 50 times not God the Son.
John 14:28 ...for the Father is greater than I.
You are welcome to your viewpoint, that's fine. 😉

I don't hold the belief that Jesus is God, if that is what you are asking me.
The Bible States Jesus is the son of God
I know you don't believe Jesus is God; that wasn't what I was asking. I can only infer from your answer you don't think Jesus is divine. If this is wrong maybe you can clarify.

Heard a story from a Muslim man who was in prison over there. The short he was about to give up. See he was preaching Allah in the prison and thought he would fast so he could hear from Allah. Well that fast came and went and Allah never said a word so he was giving up. This light shows up in the second he said he knew how unworthy he was ran in a corner crying forgive me forgive over and over and saying I am sorry. The light puts His hand on his shoulder says "I forgive you". All that fear just vanished. He asked that light who are you? He said I am the way the truth and the life. The man said those words mean nothing to me. He said I am Jesus.

Theres more to that story but what always gets me is the 1st time he shared when he just started to talk about Jesus showing up cried like a baby I mean cried. Then 20 some years later I watched him sharing it again the second he gets to Jesus showing up he can't stop crying. Oh I know that very well.

Even demons flee with that name. I watched back of the Church where I was told 1/2 the people there came with that woman who was up front crying screaming she WAS blind but that preacher that came for the week said in JESUS NAME. Yeah she was no longer blind PRAISE GOD GLORY GLORY GLORY TO JESUS!

Is not the power in the one that name belongs to? That thief never had to speak His name...just remember me. Yet with no other name does the enemy scream run in fear. Try it ..try Yeshua try Jesus.. they will always flee. HAHA as if they don't know.

The Gospel according to John, chapter one, is quite clear as to who Jesus is and his Unity with the Father.

I am clarifying that I believe Jesus is the Son of God, what you believe is up to you. 😊

There is a broader context than just verse 34. Verse 34 must be taken in the broader context of the entire passge from verse 1 through the end of the chapter.

1 Corinthians 15:27
27For “God has put everything under His feet.” Now when it says that everything has been put under Him, this clearly does not include the One who put everything under Him.

Let's be clear about something. Yes there is a difference between who the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are, but Jesus is in equal standing with God because He Himself is sinless. No one is sinless but God Himself and therefore that makes Jesus equal in righteousness, but ultimately all authority comes from God, who Jesus often identified as His Father. Jesus did everything He saw His Father do.

As the above verse shows, Jesus does not have authority over His Father. Actually, His Father has authority over Jesus.

...and, sorry, not trying to change the thread topic, I just wanted to chime in on that.
