1. In all of human history there are only 3 steel framed buildings that collapsed due to fire, all three were at Ground Zero in NYC, and only 2 of them were hit by planes.
2. The idea that the buildings would implode upon themselves is such an absurd longshot that for this to happen three times in a row is just the most ridiculous conclusion you could come up with.
3. The steel from the building was key evidence in this case and it was guarded by the US military and then sent to China to be melted and destroyed. Investigators were not allowed to look at it. That is, by definition a coverup by the US military.
4. The fire at ground zero continued to burn for 100 days. That is not paper, that is not jet fuel.
5. Complete destruction of both Twin Towers in just 10 to 14 seconds at near free-fall acceleration
6. Over 100 first-responder reports of explosions and flashes at onset of destruction
7. Multi-ton steel sections ejected laterally 600 ft at 60 mph
8. Mid-air pulverization of 90,000 tons of concrete & metal decking
9. 1200-foot-dia. debris field: no "pancaked" floors seen in the debris pile
10. Several tons of molten metal found in debris.
11. Evidence of advanced explosive nano-thermitic composite material found in the WTC dust by an international team of scientists
Finally, I would add I picked this to study with my class because I assumed it would be the best and most comprehensive example of forensic analysis of an engineering disaster. Instead we discovered it was one of the worst run investigations, shoddy, poorly done, and absolutely stunning what was not examined and what tests were not done. The only thing that rivals this for shoddy investigation is the JFK assassination.

Major flaw in saying they are the only three steel buildings that collapsed due to fire. Two obvious issues. One was the damage inflicted from the impacts. And two was that these buildings were the first buildings of this size that had the internal structure supported by the outer walls. They were essentially square tubes with everything hung on the inside of the tube. It may be the only way buildings the size of the twin towers could be built as the shear weight of the steel would have been to great for conventional steel framed building. So you cannot compare them to any other steel building.
