Why do you believe something other than "Jesus Christ alone" has the power to save?

Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be saved.
See post 35.

Neither is there salvation in any other (JESUS CHRIST).
We only have access to the Father through Christ, we have salvation because Christ paid for our sins. But it is the Father who gives salvation, not Christ.

“Faith Alone”/“Scripture Alone”/”Jesus Christ Alone”?
Hi Race runner,

Jesus said,

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

I believe this.
Do you believe this?

Yes, I believe the scripture above; only true believers go to heaven.

Scripture tells absolute truth. There are additional truths relating to salvation in the bible, this is not our only instruction. They are also absolutely true.

John 15:14 "If you love me you will keep my commandments.

John 6:15 "But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."

Please note that it is the Father who forgives, not Christ. We have access to the Father only through Christ, we can be forgiven because of what Christ did for us, but the Father is the one who decides on our salvation.

You have to forsake the faith that you put in yourself and make Jesus the sole Object of your faith first. When you call on Him to save you on the basis of what He did upon the cross and taking back His life the third day, is the minute you are saved.

AFTER you make that decision, then the verses you made reference to will apply. That model for prayer and restoration to fellowship, the Father's forgiveness applies to the Father to His saved child. The application is not a requirement for salvation in Matthew 6:15.
Also The verse in John 15:13,14,

" Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you."

Jesus demonstrated His love for His friends by laying down His life for them. Notice that He is telling the disciples how to reciprocate friendship. This again is not a requirement for salvation by doing all of His commands.
There's a different audience Jesus speaks to in John 3:18. That's a matter of life or death, salvation or condemnation. That's a whole other matter than friendship.

It is scripture that gives us the truth of the spirit of God. Instead of accusing of saying I made something up from myself it is much better to study the word.

We know from scripture that the Father planned from the beginning to give his own son for our salvation, and there is no salvation except through what Christ, God's son did for us.. The sacrficial system of the OT is based on that.

I have read that after Christ made salvation available for us, it is the Father who, through what Christ did, that gives us salvation, but I can't find it.

As I read each scripture I don't find a scripture that disputes this. If you read John 3:16 carefully, it says we are saved through belief and faith in Christ. It tells us what we must do to allow salvation, but it does not say that Christ, who made salvation possible is the power to saved us.

Jesus Christ alone has the power to save.

Acts 4:12
So anyone can say i believe in Jesus and be saved??? No one needs to know what Jesus said.. No one needs to hear the word of God?

How do you know you are believing in the right Jesus??? By Reading His Word... Eliminate His world then what have you got??? Nothing but a name..
