Biden commented on the attack at the top of his speech at Philadelphia’s 3rd Annual Independence Dinner and said that he spoke with the Speaker and said that her husband was operated on and was recovering and in good spirits.

“She’s in a plane now heading out there,” he said.
As he spoke about the incident, Biden grew angry, and began yelling.

“This is despicable,” he said. “There’s no place in America. There’s too much violence, political violence, too much hatred, too much vitriol.”

The president put the blame squarely on Republicans. Of course he did. It fits the narrative and what convenient timing!

No one disagreed. I have no issue with Costco's right to remove a book they don't want to sell, but once they do that I can decide I no longer want anything to do with Costco.

The same goes for Amazon.com, Facebook and all the rest.

CNN has the right to exercise editorial control over what they decide are the important stories.

On the other hand if you do not like the politics of a company by all means don't do business with them. Gone are the days when you avoid politics because Republicans buy sneakers too.

2 years ago CNN, Facebook, Twitter, these companies were giants that you couldn't compete with. No longer. No one listens to CNN. Not only so but new platforms have come along to compete with Facebook and Twitter. It is my sincere prayer that CNN, Facebook and Twitter go the way of Jericho.

Yes I believe the free market does a pretty good job of regulating what is or is not acceptable
If I were to open a business and discriminate against any group of people, it wouldn't take the government to tell me I can't do that because I would probably be out of business pretty quick. Because people speak with their wallets and the consumer is not going to put up with it
Facebook has its issues like selling your data to private companies but I guess that's the price you pay for a free social media site
I have made friends from all over the world through Facebook so it's not always a negative experience
