“But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”
‭‭John‬ ‭10:26-28‬ ‭

if we are his disciples he will never cast us away . That’s all we have to do learn from and follow Jesus who we believe in with all Our hearts

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:28-30‬ ‭

Notice how Jesus never tried to force anyone to believe in him he was just telling them the truth some believed some didn’t

some believed at first , then heard Jesus teachings and then returned away and abandoned following him

Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:60, 66‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s true if we continue in Christ he will never toss us away . It’s also true that we are free to turn away at any time and many do that very thing when they begin to hear what God was saying about salvation.

it’s only we who can forfeit salvation it’s put in our hands and we’re given a choice to choose Christ and his kingdom or the world.

if we don’t heed his word it’s all going to be true in the end even the warnings and even the promises

I believe believers will be saved without fail but to believe we have to be willing to hear the word he spoke

Magenta, you are a gem! You are brave, determined, and courageous.

Some of the rest of us might bight and devour one another if you didn't intersperse your variegated verses through our conversations.
Now, of course, I still disagree with you on some doctrinal issues, but that is OK! You have great spirit!

I have a panel for that, too ;):giggle:

Galatians 5:14-15~ The entire law is fulfilled in a single decree: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
But if you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out, or you will be consumed by one another.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:”
‭‭John‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”
‭‭John‬ ‭18:37‬ ‭

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
‭‭John‬ ‭4:24‬ ‭

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

..Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:63, 68-69‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

.. he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭42:1, 3-4‬ ‭

“And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭59:20-

“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: and the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

and shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: but with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭11:1-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: and they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses. One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭44:3-6, 8‬

Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people. My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.”

Oh that’s a good one ! Such a beautiful peaceful place where she sure could contemplating the lord this caught my eye earlier this morning seems Hannah is a prophet of sorts ? Would you say ?

“And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, Mine horn is exalted in the LORD: My mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; Because I rejoice in thy salvation. There is none holy as the LORD: For there is none beside thee: Neither is there any rock like our God.

Talk no more so exceeding proudly; Let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: For the LORD is a God of knowledge, And by him actions are weighed.

The bows of the mighty men are broken, And they that stumbled are girded with strength. They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; And they that were hungry ceased:

So that the barren hath born seven; And she that hath many children is waxed feeble.

The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: He bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: He bringeth low, and lifteth up. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, And lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, To set them among princes, And to make them inherit the throne of glory: For the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, And he hath set the world upon them.

He will keep the feet of his saints, And the wicked shall be silent in darkness;

For by strength shall no man prevail.

The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; Out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: The LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; And he shall give strength unto his king, And exalt the horn of his anointed.”
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭2:1-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I never realized Hannah prophesied but has recalled this also

“And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.

And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ. And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, According to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, And the glory of thy people Israel.

And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him. And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; (yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.

And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; and she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.

And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭2:25-

God cares about our heart for him and will use anyone who really loves him

“Then the disciples went away again unto their own home. But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre, and seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.

And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.

Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.”
‭‭John‬ ‭20:10-18‬ ‭

Yes, but you 1st must be saved (from sins committed) then repent for sins subsequently committed.

yes sins that are behind us he was mediating a new covenant while forgiving sins under the old

“And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament,

that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament,

they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We have to leave sin behind us for it to be remitted

Jesus died for the redemption of the sins of all that his Father gave to him, which were those that he choose before he formed the world, (Eph 1:4), which were people from every kindred, and tongue, and nation, from the beginning of mankind to the last person that will be born again, and predetermined that his Son would adopt them by the redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the good pleasure of his will (Eph 1:5-7).

Did Jesus Forgive Us All Our Sins; Past/Present/Future ?

Depends on whether we continue to confess and repent and abide in Him in the future.

If Jesus forgave us all our sins, why did Paul caution us?

Paul made it abundantly clear that sin has consequences: “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows” (Galatians 6:7). Paul then describes the end of those who indulge in sinful behavior: “The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction” (Galatians 6:8).
Maybe consider the context there? He's not referring to those redeemed from their sins by Christ.

Christians are no longer sinners.

EDENgate, you state that "Christians are no longer sinners." But, that's not what the Christian New Testament says. It says that, " Those who say they they are without sin deceive themselves and are liars." (John)

So, EDENgate, where do you come up with the idea that Christians are no longer sinners? TIA

2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17
Judgement will happen for each person.
Jesus died to save everyone and wants to save all, but not everyone will be saved.

Justification is when we ask for forgiveness. Like the old testiment lamb that was slain, the person confesses there sins and the blood is shed.
The priest takes the blood into the holy place. The blood is place on the horns and vail.

Once a year they clensed the temple "the day of atonement". People make sure all their sins were confessed. Then the priest went into the holy and most holy place with the blood of the sacrifice. Then the sins were placed on the scapegoat and lead into the wilderness to die.

It all points to the ministry of Christ.
The record of all our sins are forgive or we will suffer the penalty ourself. This is decided in the judgement.

Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Psa 96:13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

Without Jesus' blood we are guilty in the judgement.

Spiritual law and worldly law are different. We can be completely forgiven of sin if we repent and go to Jesus for forgiveness. Worldly law has no forgiveness of their law, and their laws are different from spiritual law.

There are worldly consequences, however, of following Christ. Christ leads us to a loving, forgiving nature that the world appreciates.

Yes, Mary was the first evangelist :D And thank you :) I spent quite a bit of time on that one, returning
to it repeatedly over weeks even as I started new ones and worked on them. I started this one yesterday :)

It is not quite done yet...
