Scientists used stem cells from a mouse to create a mouse embryo, without sperm or egg. It had a brain and beating heart but only lived 8 days.

"Scientists believe that through this experiment it would be easier for doctors to identify why some pregnancies fail at an earlier stage."

This really bugs me. Not only are they "playing God" but it's so weird how the majority find abortion acceptable and then there is this, where they're trying to figure out why some pregnancies fail. Seems inconsistent. I also can't help but wonder (conspiracy theorist in me, I guess) if this is working toward a future where the only babies allowed to be born are those that are created via lab. Gives a whole new meaning to test tube babies, eh?

Thoughts?

The first part talking about how for many years we thought a sperm and egg was needed to form a baby. That's the dumbest thing I've read since...probably Biden speaking. 😆 they think we're naive kids.

In all honestly I wouldn't worry about these people in particular "creating" a baby. They're not even having luck with mice. Although yes I think it's unethical.

" test tube baby" is a pretty insulting term. My husband actually used it before we needed ivf for our kid. You never know what life will throw at you.

My sister did IVF and my other sis was a surrogate. Didn't mean any offense with that term in relation to IVF.

I dunno what to make of this.
‘On principle these are nice ideas …. Which eventually will be abused and used for evil.

Same thing about gene modifications. It can cure diseases and help people but it can also be used by the military to create super soldiers and it can also be used by the wealthy to create another species of humans down the line basically.

Personally I’m not sure if gene editing is playing God. I can kinda see that perspective, but on the other hand God made people smart enough to figure out how to edit genes. It isn’t as if God underestimated people, knowing well in advance what His creation is capable of.

I think it’s more of a matter of that not all that can be done should be done. It’s a matter of what’s right and what’s wrong.

How far does this go? What’s the end goal? Will they eventually mass-produce children in factories, raise them on feeding tubes, and indoctrinate them into an obedient army of superhuman soldiers and obedient citizens in indoctrination camps the size of cities? Or is this just a little experiment?

Just my thoughts but if you tried to preach the Gospel to someone created by scientist wouldn't they say something to us like "hmm, that makes a lot of sense in your case but,,, your God didn't create me why do you think I should worship him?"...

Sorry I messed up you quote and I don't know how to correct it,lol...

I agree with you on all counts.

Really crazy that they're able to create an embryo without sperm or egg. I wonder whether the being created would have a soul, or the same type of soul, and then, if they can create a human embryo, whether they could create a sinless man (e.g. using cells from a female). It's Frankenstein territory in my view, and I'm certain if left unchecked, will (or possibly already has) lead to abominations like the Nephilim (and later demons) in Genesis 6. I think such modifications with God's property is evil, and don't think in our sinful state we should be messing around with this.

I definitely agree that they're working toward a future where babies aren't born via a womb, but only via artificial means (e.g. test tube babies). They've spent decades demonising mothers, and making out that giving birth is such an inconvenient and problemic process. They're trying to claim that men can give birth now, and with their technology, I wouldn't be too surprised if they achieve it shortly via various abominations. Then there is the sterilising covid-19 vaccine (so many women who may want to now can't give birth). There's also plenty of research and experiments creating artificial uteruses, which society may normalise in future in order to have children. Very sad for the children to be brought into a world without parents to love them properly.

My goodness. I cannot believe that these things need to be revealed and discussed. As old as I am, I've seen a transformation in the psychology of America. I've never seen our country is such disarray. Makes me wonder why anyone would want to cross our border and live here.

Its simple in my mind. Despite its faults, America in many places has the highest percentage of bible-believing Christians, or those who have been raised with the morals that this belief engenders.

Look what my city is doing:

Boston University CREATES a new Covid strain that has an 80% kill rate — echoing dangerous experiments feared to have started pandemic
  • Researchers added Omicron's spike protein to the original Wuhan Covid strain
  • Omicron's spike is highly mutated which made it the most infectious variant ever
  • Eight in 10 mice infected with the lab-created strain died at Boston University lab

Why would we do this? To learn? Okay, suppose this is for learning.

I doubt it.

The Spiritual work of Satan is to destroy the Seed of Christ and those who belong to the Holy Vine. This means that humans are being used by Satan to complete his unholy work. However, these people are unaware that they have been taken captive by Satan to do his unholy, Spiritual will. Nothing would make Satan happier than to kill, kill, kill.

If you haven't read Aldous Huxley's Brave New World, I would highly recommend it. It is eerily prophetic in its relevance to today's events, despite being almost 90 years old.

I JUST read about this online. Utterly ridiculous that they did this. I'm wondering if it's supposed to be the "next pandemic" Biden and the elite keep insinuating about.

Oh, great. That's all this world needs right now. It just might send the planet over the edge.

Scientists have figured out a way to create eye tissue using stem cells and 3D printing - in new research that could lead to breakthroughs in treating a range of degenerative eye diseases.
A team of researchers from the National Eye Institute (NEI), part of the National Institutes of Health, printed a combination of cells that form the outer blood-retina barrier—eye tissue that supports the retina's light-sensing photoreceptors.
Their technique provides a theoretically unlimited supply of patient-derived tissue to study degenerative retinal diseases such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD) - and use them to better understand how to treat or cure these diseases.
