I really don't get that retaining of purity stuff. Just because someone is a virgin does not necessarily mean that they have retained their purity. as they still may have thoughts that are not pure. Nothing wrong with kissing and cuddling during the dating phase. Holding hands too.

That always leads to something more, there is no ' dating phase '

You get married and thats it.

There is nothing wrong with that. What is wrong is your obsession with dating. You need to have an arranged marriage and get on with your life. Then you won't be obsessing about dating, but making your marriage work.

I knew a couple who got married with those strict terms of no kissing before marriage. I talked to the woman and she said her husband did not like the way she kissed and it was causing problems in the marriage. I once went out with a woman who did not like kissing. Not someone I would go out with again. Physical attraction is very important and you can't do that with the idea of no kissing before marriage.

You cannot get to know someone if you keep putting up barriers. People can act differently when hugged or kissed. It's much easier for people to hide things from you if you put up barriers.
