There’s a difference in poor folks some are poor because they dont want to work , others are poor because they work hard and don’t have enough others are poor because they can’t physically work others are poor because of some other circumstances

it’s absolutely true charity is the center point of the Christian heart and doctrine it’s also true that each person is supposed to do all they can to take care of themselves and their family first and even help others if possible.

today you have many issues the legalization of drugs hard life consuming drugs , and you have the importation of mass immigration from other terribly poor countries and you have the already existing homeless situation before all that happened

while we should be helpful to the poor we also have to take care of our own issues and people before we import the worlds and create more of ours by legalizing drugs and really , crime.

if you throw money at drug addicts who aren’t going to ever do anything for themselves your just helping them Die slowly

we need to actually solve the issues mental health , drug and alcohol counseling , shutting down the southern border stopping the drug flow stop the illegal immigration ect u til we get a handle on our own issues

to give a person a meal is great , to lift them up and change their life and help them overcome the issues keeping them There is the answer so they can eventually help someone else who needs help
