Scripture mentions at least eight holy days, also known as feasts or festivals.
The Old Covenant holy days are not mandated for followers of Jesus Christ;
the New Covenant does not promote the observance of any Christian holy
day/s, since the New Testament does not advocate specific holy day/s.

Welcome!

People are hesitant to answer because of where this thread will go. But I believe most will agree that the 7th day whatever one may call it was the day God rested from His work in creation and later commanded it to be set apart for Himself.

Feasts and Holy 7th day are different, are 10 commandments relevant or not?
Perhaps you should ask whether the law is relevant.

There are so many commandments given in the New Testament, to isolate the ten commandments would be reckless.

As for the fourth commandment in the law, the penalty for transgression applies to those under the law. That is the Jews.

Gentiles were never under the law of Moses.

Genesis 2:2-3 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on
the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And on the seventh day God ended his
work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

Hebrews 4:9-10 There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For he
who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

Jesus is my Sabbath rest :)

oh for sure

this is one of those rotating topics that seem to actually occur when a person will lambast anyone that answers incorrectly.....according to them

but the thing with this particular poster, is that he states he was born a Christian and I definitely take issue with that

and now, are the 10 commandments relevant or not

right on target for about 100 other OT thou shalt and thou shalt not arguments. Its' never actually a discussion because the op will tell us all how things really are

anyway, Paul does say not to allow anyone to judge us according to these things, but then you will also be told that Paul preached another gospel

Functional judgements are fine. Final judgements should be left to God.

And I apologize. That post was meant for the original poster.

I was asking if anyone can help out with biblical knowledge, but seems not
The substance, or reality, belongs to Christ

6 Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, 7 rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just las you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits1 of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, 10 and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. 11 In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead. 13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. 15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities2 and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.3\

Let No One Disqualify You
16 Therefore let no one pass judgment on you questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or ja new moon or a Sabbath. 17 These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. 18 Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions,4 up without reason by his sensuous mind, 19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.
20 If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the world, why, as if you were still alive in the world, do you submit to regulations— 21 “Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch” 22 (referring to things that all perish as they are used)—according to human precepts and teachings? 23 These have indeed an appearance of wisdom IN promoting self-made religion and asceticism and severity to the body, but they are of no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh

Genesis 2:2-3 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on
the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and
sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

To be truthful on this whole time thing about sabbaths, feast, holidays ect. Only the Lord knows the true time.
There are certain events in the old testament which has altered time. Even the jewish calender may be in error.
To the best of mans abilities time has been kept as close as our understanding of history and events.
I believe this to be GODs design for no one knows when the second coming of JESUS will be except the father but you can be assured it will happen according to the appointed times of GOD.

Great comment, i disagree that always was and always will be, here is why! In Exodus God gave Moses and Aaron Month of Nisan/Abib to be the first day and month and beginning of the year, can you please tell me which day was Nisan 1 compared with todays calendar?
