I gave up on American or worldly culture in general when I realized that's the norm......With the exception of exceptional parents who raise their children right.
The good news is that the Lord is always working on His own. Ie. The message to that classroom summarizes it better than I am here.

This guy is good!!! They had Florida man catching gator on news here. I might try my guitar with this piece but looked like he does bar chords and a bit tough for me. He sings good too....I'm not that advanced. I either walk or chew gum not both.Florida Man Song

I played as a kid and should have stuck with guitar, but got sidetracked by a dozen other things. Mostly just blues using a copper pipe slide with friends on the weekends.
That song is going to stick in my head all day long. It reminds me of Adam Sandler doing a Cajun Man song on SNL, but this guy's a better musician. I'll post him if I can find a family friendly song.
I was thinking about searching for the news story and full video to give it context. Glad you knew about it already.

A blessing that I learned to play guitar over past 20 yrs. As kid took 1 drum lesson and 1 clarinet lesson and when I picked up guitar 20 yrs ago could barely discern difference in sound of any chords. Very strange as I used to have customers call me to tweak there sound systems and even testified in court once as ear witness. About two years ago, after 18 yrs of real struggle playing except for with one teacher for awhile, I started really getting a nice sound. Not that I know any music. Just what I make up at random. Must be a gift. The SNL guy I never heard. The entire music industry is manipulated. Just like every industry and institution. Most talent is wasted in every walk of life. It seems that all forms of government and industry and endeavor operate on the same fundamentals, just different names like, democracy, republic, monarchy, socialist and etc., etc. ,etc.. Just Lucky Luciano's line from show "Untouchables",....."I don't trust any of them, they're all a bunch of crooks". Ever hear of Buckminster Fuller? Interesting man. I read about Fuller during lunch. He's a very interesting person, no doubt about it. I was surprised, but reconsidered, We shouldn't be surprised that he wasn't mentioned in public school. There's a lot to his history. Was there anything you wanted to relate about him to the topics?
