I just saw this Video of an American Evangelical Christian Missionary to India. Very edifying. We must Pray and Work to Save Souls for Jesus Christ.

Matt 25:41 . .Then he will say to those on his left: Depart from me, you
who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his angels.

That's likely a reference to Rev 20:10 where it says:

"And the Devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and
brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be
tormented day and night forever and ever."

I'm not all that well-informed about the future, but I'm pretty sure that both
the beast and the false prophet are human beings. Well; if the Greek word
apollumi (Matt 10:28) speaks of nothing less than obliteration, then how it is
that those two guys are existing in the lake when the Devil arrives?

The thing is: apollumi is somewhat ambiguous. It doesn't always mean
obliteration, for example Matt 2:13 which says:

"Herod will seek the young child to destroy him."

And/or Matt 5:29 which says:

"It is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not that
your whole body should be cast into Hell."

And/or Matt 8:25 which says:

"Lord, save us: we perish."

And/or etc, etc, etc. The list just goes on and on and on where apollumi
means more than obliteration, i.e. something always remains to reckon with,
for example Heb 2:14 which says:

"Through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is,
the Devil."

Rev 20:10 assures me that the Devil's destruction doesn't obliterate him; he
will be kept in existence to undergo perpetual suffering; and I think it's
pretty safe to assume that those on the King's left per Matt 25:41 will be
there too.

One of my favorite lines from the movie "Titanic" is when Mr. Ismay protests
that this ship cannot sink; and Mr. Andrews responds: She's made of iron,
sir! I assure you, she can... and she will. It is a mathematical certainty.

There are folks at large all across the internet, and around the globe,
sincerely believing that Hell isn't a place of perpetual conscious suffering.
They, like Mr. Ismay, will be utterly stunned and bewildered beyond
comprehension to discover it's exactly that.

According to Jesus Christ's testimony as an expert witness in all matters
pertaining to the afterlife; most of the world's responsible souls haven't been
making it to safety when they cross over to the other side.

†. Luke 13:22-24 . . And he went through the cities and villages, teaching,
and journeying toward Jerusalem. Then said one unto him, master, are there
few that be saved? And he said unto them: Strive to enter in at the strait
gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

†. Matt 7:13-14 . . Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and
broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But
small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find
it.

†. Matt 22:14 . . For many are called, but few are chosen.

Webster's defines "many" as consisting of, or amounting to, a large but
indefinite number; while "few" is defined as consisting of, or amounting to,
only a small number; viz: relative to many then, few is the lesser. Bear with
me while I flesh this out.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the resident population of the United
States, projected to 12/10/14 at 03:35 pm New York time, was
approximately 319,408,600 with a death rate of approximately one every 12
seconds; which translates to an average of 7,200 American deaths of all
ages, races, and genders during just one 24-hour calendar day.

According to 2009 US Census data; roughly 27.3% of America's daily deaths
are under the age of 19, which would indicate that approximately 5,089 of
the current daily death rate of 7,200 per 24 hours are adults. Giving the
"many" the benefit of the doubt by limiting their maximum percentage to
51%, would indicate a minimum of 2,595 American adults transferring to
perdition every day: which translates to roughly 108 per hour.

That's a very conservative estimate as the Lord didn't really specify exact
percentages to represent the quantities of "few" and "many". But just think:
by the time CBS completes its half-hour evening news report, a bare-bones
minimum of 54 Americans become new arrivals in the fiery sector of the
netherworld.

Using the ratio of 2,595 condemned souls per 319,408,600 population:
computing the number of condemned souls worldwide from a currently
estimated global population of 7,210,485,300 people, would suggest
something like 58,581 new arrivals in the fiery sector of the netherworld
every 24 hours; which translates to 2,441 souls every sixty minutes on the
clock.

That rate would fill the 51,800 seats of the new Yankee Stadium to capacity
in roughly 21 hours and 13 minutes. In other words: if the world's daily
number of condemned souls started filing into the stadium at 06:00 am this
morning, then by 03:13 am tomorrow, the stadium would be full to capacity.

Christmas and New Year's are even worse. A study done of 26 years of
death certificates shows that coronary fatalities are, on average, 11.9%
higher on those days than any other days of the year; with non-heart deaths
spiking to 12.2% higher; and believe me folks, hell never closes; no, not at
all: it's open for business 24/7/365 nonstop and indifferent to global
warming, Wall Street crashes, massive layoffs, high school shootings,
terrorism, tsunamis, earthquakes, nuclear meltdowns, air, water, and soil
pollution, freeway pile-ups, brown-outs, threatened species, gasoline prices,
student debt, GMO, trade deficits, Federal debt, factory recalls,
overpopulation, desertification, genocides, revolutions, civil wars, acid rain,
road rage, conscious decoupling, ISIS, gay marriage, the crisis in Ukraine,
Obamacare, blood diamonds, fracking, twerking, Oprah's millions, and
Letterman's retirement.

If the Lord is a credible witness; then it's apparent that souls never stop
cascading into the pits of hell in an endless procession like the unbelievable
millions of poultry broilers passing annually through Tyson chicken
processing plants on their way to Wendy's, McDonalds, Carl's Junior, Jack in
the Box, Burger King, In-n-Out Burger, KFC, A&W, Arby's, Dairy Queen,
Taco Bell, et al; and to supermarkets and restaurants all over the USA and
wherever else Tyson vends its meats. The slaughtering, the butchering, the
packaging, and the shipping never stop.

========================================

No God is not a sadist but a righteous Judge. So when someone flatly denies the existence of eternal Hell -- the Lake of Fire -- that person flatly calls God a liar. You are now showing your true colors.

Don’t you accuse people of calling God a liar here just about every day? And it’s always over disagreeing about what the Bible says, not that anyone actually called God a liar.

Did you know Peter and Paul had a disagreement? How about them, were they liars?

Speaking of showing true colors, how does that effect your witness as a Christian leader? Are you teaching people how to not behave as a “mature Christian?” If so, you’re doing a good job.

A good sermon on the doctrine of Hell:

My ex landlord is a JW. They dont believe in hell. Their teachings are strange, very strange. Although to my surprise they do believe that we are in the end days and the tribulation will be starting very soon. He has being trying to convert me for the two years I was there and still tries to on the phone when he rings. He says it is because he cares and wants me to know the truth. I thought I already do and it is not what you preach lol. But I guess it is nice of him to attempt.

I would suggest staying away from the JWs. Especially higher ranking members.

They are NOT Christian. But it sounds like you have handled him well.

There is no fiery place for eternal torture.

I'm not listening to you. In my opinion your kind are no more reliable than
the Serpent who said to the woman "You shall not surely die".

simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences." (Prov 22:3)

On that basis, you should not listen to yourself, either.
Since your stance is, man does not die, but exists forever after to
experience torment in the fiery depths of hell/the lake of fire.

Even though Scripture plainly states, God alone is immortal.

Christianity 101 = man puts on the immortality of Christ by grace alone through faith alone.

While I understand the doctrine of hell is terrifying, yet it is no invention of the Church or anything, as people say, but the clear doctrine/teaching of Jesus Christ and His Apostles. Revelation 20:10 is just one of several passages that come to mind.

Rev 20:10 "And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

The main purpose Hell has been revealed to us, by God in His Word, imo, is that we completely come out of lukewarmness to pursuing and living lives of true holiness and then work as hard we can, in prayer and evangelism, to help save as many souls as we can.

And then, beside praying for the lost, we leave the rest, including Judgment to God. God is Just and will not send any one - not even a single person - to hell who does not really and truly deserve to be there, and remained unrepentant until death.

Edit: As I mentioned earlier, 2 Macc 12:[46], a Deuterocanonical OT Book, says it is a work of mercy to pray for the departed: "It is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sins."

God Bless.

It’s a genuine marvel to me that, even with the Bible, you’ve managed to think that those who agree about God saying they’d die have in fact been deceived by the serpent.

The delusion runs deep and strong in this one.

Scripture plainly states, God alone is immortal.

The full-blown Supreme Being exists not as a spirit, rather, just totally spirit.
(John 4:24) As such; mortality/immortality doesn't apply to Him because He
doesn't have a body. The full-blown Supreme Being exists as an atmospheric
anomaly; so to speak.

Although He doesn't have immortality, He does have eternal life; which is
often assumed a synonym for immortality, but they are not the same-- not
even remotely the same.

However, mortality/immortality does apply to the Supreme Being's progeny
because Christ exists as a spirit being and a material being simultaneously.
(John 1:1-3, John 1:14, 1Cor 15:45, 1Tim 1:15-17, 1Tim 6:14-16)

People in Hell are neither mortal nor immortal. I know that because when
the rich man of Luke 16:19-31 passed away, he left behind the material
element of his existence in burial. (Luke 16:22) We can conclude then, for
the sake of sensible discussion, that mortality and immortality are
characteristics that only apply to material forms; never to spirit forms.

I know next to nothing about the characteristics of folks in the afterlife
except that they're sentient, have vision, are able to speak, and able to hear
and understand voices, and able to feel both comfort and discomfort.

People in the afterlife are described as if they have material characteristics. I
believe that's done to help those of us in the material world picture those
who exist in the non material world; i.e. a world whose occupants can be
neither seen nor detected by material means.

Apparently the afterlife is a sphere whose properties are not the kind of
properties to which we're accustomed. I strongly suspect that the afterlife
consists of a table of periodic elements heretofore unknown to man. That's
not an unreasonable suspicion. If the Supreme Being was able to invent one
table of elements, it should not be all that difficult for Him to invent another,
and another, and another, ad infinitum.

The dead know nothing. Ecclesiastes 9:5

Solomon wrote somewhat about the afterlife in the book of Ecclesiastes; but
he wrote from the perspective of a man "under the sun" whereas Jesus
spoke of the afterlife as a man from Heaven (John 3:13). In my book, Jesus
is the one to hear in matters related to the afterlife because he's actually
seen it for himself, and his information trumps Solomon's.

Matt 12:42 . .The queen of the south will be raised up in the judgment
with this generation and will condemn it; because she came from the ends of
the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, but, look! something more than
Solomon is here.

John 3:31 . . The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is
from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The
one who comes from heaven is above all.

And Jesus comes highly recommended too.

Matt 17:5 . . This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved; listen to
him.

So then, when encountering remarks in the book of Ecclesiastes that are out
of step with Jesus; my unsolicited spiritual counseling is to take Solomon's
world view with a grain of salt and go with the heavenly view taught by "my Son".

John 8:12 . . I am the light of the world. He that follows me will by no means
walk in darkness, but will possess the light of life.

The devil, the beast, false prophet those are concepts. The in individuals attached to those will have an opportunity to repent and receive God's spirit again in the second Resurrection they will repent even Satan will repent after all he is The Prodigal Son. The father is perfect it is his will that none should perish but all come to repentance, and his will will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. The almighty father will not lose one soul. Besides this whole burning in the health thing is a bunch of crap. God is not a sadist. Hell is just death it's not a place that people go and be tortured that's a Catholic lie to scare people into staying into their blasted Church.

Wh what a bunch of rubbish. There is no consciousness in the grave. Ecclesiastes9:10.
Also Christ was not spirit and human at the same time that totally destroys his sacrifice if that's the case
