So now the term "woke" is part of the vocabulary of those who can't think independently. A slanderous term is put out there by their biased sources and they run to it like children to the ice cream truck. ready for the latest flavor of hatred.

My shop teacher was mean, made sure that all girls had hair tied back, jewelry and watches removed and had a name that corresponded with the number of fingers left on his hands.
Things sure have changed since 8th grade.

when i was in high school in the late 80's - early 90's, guys kept guns in the gun racks in the back of their pickup trucks in the parking lot.

the only thing that was said about that was they were asked to take them down and put them in the seat at school, because it was a bad look in the parking lot.

changed times indeed.

I was thinking that you grew up in my state for some reason. Back then there weren't the school shootings or big busted shop teachers who were dudes. Gun racks all over and nobody cared. That's what I call normal.
What happened overnight?

That's one of my favorite states. I have family that started out in Athens and brought home a good young Alligator too. Every time he'd growl, grunt or bello you knew where he was from due to his cool Georgia accent.
 
The way I see it, male, female and a whole lot of confusion. God created two and the rest is man's doing. Hence the confusion.
