I live in CA and returned after 20 years of Military service. Gavin Newsom wants to ban all cars that use gas by 2035. He has supported the buying of electric cars.

Now with the limited charge station, they need that run on Natural gas or propane :) The Governor and State democrats are telling those who own Electric cars NOT to charge them because of the stress on the Power Grind in my State.
LOL LOL, how stupid is that LOl

sounds like Newsom wants to trap people in that poop-hole of a state, with zero transportation. He sees how folks are fleeing and wants to put a stop to it.

One thing you gotta give the Democrats credit for, they have a unified message whether it is Newsom, Lightfoot, Hochul, this mayor of Jackson Ms., Biden, whatever. In every case "it's not their fault"

Doesn't matter, 5 million come across the border -- not their fault. 300 die every day from Fentanyl -- not their fault. Vaccine is a kill shot -- not their fault. No water in MS, no electricity in California, no safety in Chicago, no talking back in NY, whatever, it's not their fault.

There's a pretty obvious answer to that........
"Citing changes in work-life balance, opportunities for remote work and more people deciding to quit their jobs, the report found that droves of Californians are leaving for states like Texas, Virginia, Washington and Florida. California lost more than 352,000 residents between April 2020 and January 2022, LA Times, 29 July 2022"

They are on their way!

No, it's not their fault. 65% of the US population identify as Christian. They can pray and they can vote. Either they want the Democrats or they've failed to pray or vote.

"God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: it is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world.” (CS Lewis). God is shouting. It seems that few are listening.

Yes God is shouting that we need to be accountable for our actions, to realize that our actions have consequences and those consequences are a result of our actions. As long as we refuse to be accountable we will refuse to repent and turn to the Lord.

I agree but CA is my home where God has me ministering. Better to be in Lion's den with God than out of it without God. Obedience is better than sacrifice :) Living in CA I do both :)

Also, the news just broke from California, wow, these Democratic politicians are very, very good to those companies that donate to their reelection campaign. See Bannon's warroom at 10:45am EST, I'll try and post the clip when they make it available. Wow! Do these guys know which side their bread is buttered on.

We were told thousands of years ago the world would march into the hands of the antichrist.

I just can't understand people being surprised at seeing it happen.

Or thinking they can stop it.

Equity is just a lame excuse

I have had it with all the lame excuses. When I was a teacher we were judged based on our test results. Every teacher would blame their test results on the kids. I thought that was repulsive, and studies had already been done that showed the difference between high performing classes and low performing classes was not the kids, it was the teacher.

They would say our kids were poor (they look at demographics in NYC and our school was in the bottom 25% of income) because most were on a free lunch program. My feeling was that was an advantage, kids come to school everyday because they get fed.

They would say the kids were lazy. I remembered myself and my friends and we were lazy in HS. I knew I was extremely lazy and yet I was considered the hardest working student they had ever seen at my HS of 2,000 kids (this was because I never took home a book, I did all my work Mon-Fri between 7:30am and 3pm).

They would say that being on free lunch meant the kids weren't fed as well. True, but I went to school in a wealthy suburb where kids would spend two weeks on the French Riviera, or at Vale, or at Disney world. No one studies at those places. These rich kids are filled with distractions.

Step 1 you have to look at the results as your fault. Can't some of it be some kids fault who failed to study? Of course, but that is true in every class in the US. It all evens out.

Step 2 After careful reflection, modify what you are doing.

My first year my kids scored in the bottom 25% of the test results in NYC, a place where the bottom 25% is horrible. To be fair the school was in the bottom 25%.

The last year I have data for they scored in the top 6%. They were competitive with schools ranked among the top 100 high schools in the US.

Every year you make adjustments, you study the research on teaching, and you don't take these lame excuses. Other teachers would come to me preparing to their reports for tenure application because I had the data for the whole city, and then they would want to "massage" the data, let's just compare their results with other poor schools that are most black and latino. That is so racist. That is what equity is all about, an excuse for poor performance.

... Or they aren't actually Christian, or they are Christian but have unredeemed value systems.

Here it is. Newsom got $10.6 million in campaign donations from 979 State vendors that got $6.2 billion in State contracts!

This is why they love power, if I have the power to dole out $6 billion in contracts I can easily raise $10 million.

Did you know what the poorest state in the US is? Not Mississippi, not Alabama, it is California. They have the highest % of people living in poverty than any other state and this is why.

It is Pay to Play in California

Newsom takes a page right out of Tamminy Hall.

It was a ten year battle to get the books opened on a line by line checkbook in California, for some reason all the legislators, state senators, AG's and judges didn't want to open it.

BTW the $6.2 billion was in a single year. It turns out Newsom uses this state vendor list as a donor list to solicit campaign donations.

I'm wondering why judges and AG's wouldn't want this list public. Could it be that donations to their campaign could actually impact their decisions concerning who to prosecute and who to convict?

This is pure fascism. The government has complete authority so all businesses pay to play with the fascist regime.

MAGA just doesn't understand this which is why Biden calls them "semi fascists".

Lady Macbeth

Governor Newsom's wife also solicits this state vendor list for donations to her public charity which is CRT heavy in teaching kids that America is "the big lie". My first guess was it was a confessional, but I was wrong. It turns out that all these tax payers giving billions to these corporations that in turn make Newsom and his wife rich and powerful, it turns out all those taxpayers are racists.
