Sometimes I'm too much...

Too much energy,
Too much emotion,
Too much clingy,
Too much noise,
Too much uncertainty
Too much insecurity

Basically...

Too much me...

I love, though, how each and everytime, He lets me know, the grieving spirit isnt subtle. If I listen, He reminds me, the beauty of letting go, to just breath and gently step into His quiet.

Thank You Lord for Your balance. Screenshot_20220828-180443_Facebook.jpg

Alarm clock screaming
Bare feet hit the floor
It’s off to the races
Everybody out the door
I’m feeling like I’m falling behind
It’s a crazy life
Ninety miles an hour
Going fast as I can
Trying to push a little harder
Trying to get the upper hand
So much to do in so little time
It’s a crazy life
It’s ready, set, go
It’s another wild day
When the stress is on the rise
In my heart I feel you say

Just breathe, just breathe
Come and rest at my feet
And be, just be
Chaos calls but all you really need
Is to just breathe

With the except the last two: uncertainty, insecurity, you sound very much like a child, His child!

Liked the idea of being sensitive to the quiet humble Spirit that guides us.

I try to keep the focus of my mind on Him always. I like to listen to streaming hymns as much as possible. I love to sing outloud as well if I can. Of course we have life to deal with! I want to remember that what I am doing, even the normal things, are for Him and offer it to Him.

When You said come rest
Should I be working so hard?
When You said love, rest
Did You want hands or my heart?
'Cause I have done my best
But still I missed the mark
But I remember You said it's done

So I come

Not yet, I often just write but not nec poetry. It isn't something that always flow from me, so I hope soon, to write something because He really helps me to commune with him doing so. How about you, anything new?

You have me inspired to write, not sure what but hopefully he will guide me.

We are both the same! I haven't written any new ones. Sometimes He will have me do something different "Is accepting Christ enough to be saved?". I am thinking of writing a short intro to one of St. John of the Cross poetry. St. John of the Cross, talk about in love with God. He puts me into far shame!

One of these days thinking I may write a new hymn. I have some music background, piano, organ and violin (learning! real beginner), zero training in writing music.

I am like you I wait until He gives me something...a verse, an idea....and voila the other words follow. Sometimes better than other times, but I enjoy that He even talks to me at all and gives me some ideas of what to write.

I appreciate you sis. There is a hug there too!

Oh wow, how awesome and rewarding it must be to be gifted with musical talent like that. I hope you share if you do create a hymn. I appreciate you too
my brother. Yes always a safe and Christ filled hugs for my beloved family in Him.
