Funnily enough it seems men have two main takes on if a woman is interested or not. One is "she didn't say so, therefore she's not interested" and the other is "she's in my line of sight. She must be interested" 😂
I must be the first kind, because I've never noticed a girl being interested in me.:sneaky:

But now I'm wondering how many times I've missed the clues.

In my experience the clues are usually subtle, where they become more self-conscious about looking pretty and being proper whereas in front of people they don’t have a crush on they may give no effort.

Also, from a man’s perspective, the effort women give is also usually quite subtle. Western women will rarely just come out and say “I have a crush on you, will you be my boyfriend?” Instead they’ll do things like get their nails done, dress better, and do their hair. The thing is that most men really don’t seem care about that stuff so it isn’t always obvious that they’re attempting to be more attractive to get our attention.

There’s actually a huge gap in what men and women think each other want most of the time. Just my experience, but it’s good to be aware of. It could really help I think.

Some people are naturally so friendly, and also physical (in a non-sexual way, and with no romantic intents) it comes across as being interested. Often to them their behavior is natural and they are unaware they're doing it.
It's not uncommon for men to take this as giving romantic intentions. Usually such women get hit on often as a result. So it makes sense that you, too, interpreted her behavior as such.
I wasn't going to approach her. As I said in my post, I was advised to do it, both by several men and a woman.

How does that work? :unsure:You got me curious ;):giggle:
Ok my first husband departed years ago and my second departed in 2016. I say I'm twice a widow for lack of a better term. I know, I always feel strange when I use that verbiage, lol.

It was the "my son's dad stays in contact" that piqued my curiosity... like, as if it were from beyond the grave ;)

I do not believe there are cut & dry clues. Every person is different, and what is a clue to some is gibberish to another. Why I prefer direct, plain speech. Maybe it's the NYer in me.

I still haven't figured out the moral of this story. It should be pretty easy since it's a cartoon from 1960. 😄
So I watched that and found the moral: do not to trust in witches and witchcraft 😅

It Could be that I am not their type lol

Kidding aside I think because some here want to stay single lol 😄 and some are just too shy to do the first move. In our culture although there are women in my country nowadays who are not shy to ask men ... in our culture asking a man for a date is frowned upon...but for me I am not against it. I just can't do it and never will lol unless we are married already ☺

And one other reason is maybe some of us here are too scared of rejection...

The dating world is only for those who are brave enough to step out from their comfort zones...although there are those lucky ones who instantly find their pairs...dating is really for those who will start acting instead of wishing....

If you are not willing to take a chance nothing will gonna happen...if you will not go beyond your fear you'll never know....😊
