Makeya a little wager here ... lord trump will be hit with things that would politically kill anyone else, and he will arise from the ashes to take the win in 24 riding a "Christian" wave.

One of his first acts will be to broker a deal that allows the Israelis to rebuild their temple. "Christians" around the world will cheer.

Then in 3 1/5 years when it's finished, he'll move in.

Dollars to drachmas, there's no other way this can play out.

You do know, right, that first off most Christians aren't Tim Lahaye-style Christians and your allusion to Trump being the anti-Christ is just silly to most people.

Whenever you're ready to have an adult conversation give a shout. Until then, good day to you.

I have issues with my eyesight that makes little meme's such as this you posted nearly impossible to read.

It's much easier to read when you type your thoughts out normally, such as I'm doing here. It's easily seen and read.

However, it looks like you're making some reference to False prophets.

First - Trump can't be a false prophet since he isn't a teacher or self styled prophet of the faith. He doesn't even lay claim to being a politician - he's a business man who ran for public office, and won in 2016.

When we read 2 Peter 2:1 it becomes clear that the definition of a false prophet is someone who teaches the faith:

"But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction."

So what do false prophets do? They bring into the church destructive heresies.

A businessman who won his bid for the presidency once, can't do that unless he's also a pastor or is somehow connected to the body of Christ such that they believe what he's teaching about matters of faith. And I've honestly never heard Trump try to teach the faith to anyone.

Do I believe that false prophets talk about Trump, and otherwise try to attach themselves to Trump as a means to fame/fortune/power or just as a stage to spread their lies from?

Absolutely I believe that - but that's also nothing new under the sun.

I think it's sad for Trump's spiritual state. Had he had proper Christian influences he would have had a better chance of being properly saved, as it is I don't think he is, though I'm sure he thinks he is.

Politically he knew what people in America wanted. They wanted policies that had results - not a one party state where no policy was ever acted on. Left and right people were sick of do nothing politicians running what was in action a one party state benefitting only corporations and the political machine.

Trump knew it and won because he, unlike career politicians, made himself available to both the media and to the constituency. He wasn't terrified of the occasional typo and off the cuff comment - he spoke regularly to all, available to anyone.

It was new. No one in media and no one in the constituency had ever seen it before in their life. Career politicians want carefully measured words meted out as little as possible lest the truth of them gets brought to light. Trump wasn't afraid of the light, and he ran his campaign the way he ran business - and it worked.

That makes him a better politician than career politicians, but nothing more.

In the end his widespread popularity both hurt him as much as it helped him - as fame is want to do.

But if the left and the media let Trump be put out to pasture, and likely even if they try keeping him in the game, he'll not see another presidency.

People like my husband and I who voted for Trump twice have zero plans on voting for him a third time, there are younger options that are just as, if not more appealing. Trump in the end did exactly what people wanted from him, now it's time for someone else to step in...

I don't agree with the details so much but the overall concept that the antichrist will be ushered into power riding mostly on the wave of "Christian" support is true. It is clear by now that most "Christians" are so in name only and actually are idolaters. Their current idols are America and patriotism (and all associated things like the flag, veterans, etc.) and the human figurehead at the top of their idolatry is Trump.

I don't think Trump is the anti-Christ, though. From what I understand the anti-Christ is savvy and intelligent (albeit evil) and has a wide appeal. Trump is very inept and incompetent - his only success is on the willingness of people to join his cult of personality, he completely lacks substance and this is why he attracts people who are the same. But this is the setup to open the door and pave the way for the anti-Christ and no doubt those who profess to be "Christians" in name only are the ones who will help Trump and eventually the anti-Christ take power.

Can't see Trump moving into the temple. He would consider it a ghetto just like he considered the White House a ghetto.

You speak to a point I make often ... far too many "Christians" have conflated the Cross with the elephant.

The right comes out as anti-abortion which gets their attention, And wanting join to fight abortion, they look the other way at the idolatry, the mammon worship, the lies and deceit, the abandonment of the truly sick and poor, and all the other parts of the conservative platform that are anything BUT Christ-like. So the Cross gets smaller and the elephant gets bigger and in the end you have believers who have turned from the Truth of God while thinking they are doing His will.

The left deceives the world.

The right deceives believers.

And since the deception of believers will cost many their souls, I find that to be the more dangerous of the two.

I'm sorry to hear of your eye trouble. But "little meme"? That takes up the whole screen on my system. I always feared it was too big lol :)

Glad you will not vote for him again. But honestly, once again, we will still be given the choice between two evils.

I honestly can't vote for either party.

Agreed. The real problem is this: Since I've joined this board, only YOU and one other person have at all put Christ before earthly politics in any way, while the rest have been attacking me incessantly, armed with their right-wing politics and worldly belief sets, and this is a direct correlation to what happens in our world today.

In regular life this is what I see. Out of 100 people claiming to be Christians I am loathe to find more than 5 who are consistent in their other beliefs, and those who are inconsistent with their profession to be Christians are deeply involved in right-wing politics and the idolatry of worshiping America in all the different forms that idol takes (ultimately being mammon).

That is why I am hated by most on this "Christian" forum, which I see as proof that I am on the right side:
Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

let's take it a step further-

how many Christians regularly use amazon, a company with the devil's tail as part of their logo.

how many Christians have netflix and other streaming services which all have pro new world order shows

how many Christians do not believe in witchcraft and demons, which the Bible openly talks about.

but then say they are " Bible believing" Christians....

how many Christians use cashless methods to buy and sell, which is going to be used to end cash and bring in a digital one world currency....

how many ever even THINK about these things??

That’s how most of American “Christians” are.
‘They confuse the Republican Party or right-wing ideas with God.
‘Par for the course.

No, I'm saying those who conflate the elephant with the cross are being drawn away from God's Truths. Being drawn away, they will not be prepared for the days that are coming (and that they are in fact helping to bring on). Not being prepared, they will turn from the faith as Jesus said many will when those days arrive.

The left deceives the world.

The right deceives believers.

That puts believers in danger of losing what the left never had.
