What I have noticed over the years is that many go to the Scripture with only one thing in mind, to find Scripture that they can put their own interpretation on so as to prove what they already believe.
It is not about believing what Scriptures says, but how can I make it say what I want.
Read, study, and believe and stop with the interpretation.

In the very beginning GOD SHOWS US exactly how the TEMPTER works in the words of God. To stay on the narrow path, the first words of the Ministry of Jesus must be heeded.
GOD COMMANDED
Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Not a bit different today than the day it was written. A stubborn and stiff necked people they were, just as we are. BUT THEY MADE FUN OF WHAT THE PROPHET HAD TOLD THEM, they mocked it, acted like it didn't matter, went on about their own way,

Reading Gods way, and in Gods order, GOD MOLDS our thoughts, His knowledge and His wisdom are placed PRECEPT ON PRECEPT so when it IS TIME for the "here a little.." the Holy Spirit make sure it is understood.

this is where the biggest and greatest problem lies at. nowhere in the Bible do we read anything is a Doctrine but the doctrines of man that JESUS condemned. man has decided that doctrines exist, not God. so while man is running around trying to gather every Verse for this position and that position, they have taken out the original meaning that applies to the entire Chapter its found in. any buffoon can cherry pick Verses. i prefer to read a Verse in context to the Verses before and after because it's placed where the true meaning is supposed to be discovered at.
A doctrine is simply a statement of truth. A statement of truth that is declared by God to be very important.
Obviously some verses in the New Testament are more important than other verses.
Some chapters are much more important than other chapters in the New Testament.
I will give you an example.
How many doctrines or verses are quoted from the letter to Philemon?
How many doctrines or verses are quoted from the letter to the Romans?
Not all New Testament letters carry the same weight.
Even the apostles placed specific importance on certain doctrines, articles of faith, truth statements. In the New Testament.
Obviously some verses in the New Testament are more important than other verses.
Some chapters are much more important than other chapters in the New Testament.
