Any different then music celebrating any other sin? How about i am so sad because i murdered my wife and kids.. Maybe lets glorify #$%^&*women song. Satan was the music director :)

Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Ewww, that’s nasty. I don’t listen to music that glorifies violence, unless of course it’s about fighting for our right to Parrr Tay! 😊

Thank you for sharing such a powerful testimony. Your words resonate with me. They remind me of what Johnny Cash had to say in that being Christian isn’t for sissies; it takes a real man (and woman) to be Christian.

The battles are real. I’m currently in a war with two battlefronts, one of the heart and one of the flesh, thankfully it has nothing to do with homosexuality. I take comfort knowing God is at my side while fighting the good fight; His love, grace and presence strengthen me. I pray he meets you today and always should any attack come your way.
I will be praying for you. You are not alone.

The disgust for homosexual behavior is probably automatic in a lot of people, at least in men about male homosexuality. This is probably what a lot of LGBT activists mean by the term 'homophobia.' But this is a normal thing, and if someone doesn't have disgust at such activity, they should cultivate the disgust and have it. A lot of propaganda has gone into trying to do away with the disgust in the younger generation and society at large.
I agree with all of that in your comment, but I wanted to comment on the section I singled out above, which I also agree with.

The language they use is meant to disarm and confuse using social pressures. Homophobia is a decoy known as a misnomer. Since a phobia is an irrational fear, it aims to gaslight people into thinking they’re mentally off balance somehow. It’s a deception.

If enough people believe in it then they’ll shame others and the deception self-reinforces itself. It’s propaganda like you said.

There are very good reasons to fear homosexuality including it being a sin and disease. Nothing irrational there.

We all struggle with some kind of sin, this does not mean we stop calling those things sin. Adultery is sin if a person struggles against pornography we dont take this lightly because it is this body of sin and death being ever mindful that it is sin, keeps folks mindful to be in a state of repentance.
Its my opinion that we too readily forget our sin that it is sin and that it does indeed damn us. That we have to be dead to it.
I struggle with gluttony, lust for wealth, sometimes lust, a measure of idolatry. Sometimes I think, I am the only Christian on earth with that constant inner turmoil.

Thank you Jesus that life is only three score and ten years long. I don't think I could cope with another century of this inner conflict.

I believe that this constant sinful activity, actually deceives us, and eventually we let go of Jesus.

I agree. I read in an academic article one that the author do I have no evidence that homophobia was a real phobia in the neighbor research. It is Orwellian type propaganda.

All of us have our battles. True enough its the goal of our enemy ; even our own flesh to damn us. Thanks be to Jesus who has us in his eternal and all powerful grip.

When a lie is repeated often enough, loudly enough, widely enough, and by
authorities feared and/or trusted enough; pretty soon the masses will begin
to accept 2+2=5 without thought or question.

That process-- utilized to persuade the public to accept an establishment's
narrative --has been very effective during the past two years of Covid madness.

Somebody's head needs to roll over the deplorable falsehoods that have been
fed to America's people but of course, like the Russian Collusion hoax, no
one's will because too many of the powers that be have been in on it, e.g.
the White House, Congress, State and Local governments, the Military,
School Districts, Medical Centers, Universities, the CDC, the FDA, the NIH,
the US Surgeon General, Mainstream Media, and employers, etc.

Ironically, all those agencies were going about decrying so-called
misinformation while at the same time holding back information, e.g.
suppressing qualified second opinions and ignoring proven data.

You know, these past two years have been a very strange time in the USA.
Sometimes I feel as if I were living in a foreign country wherein even the FBI
and the DOJ have of late been operating like Geheime Staatspolizei (a.k.a.
Gestapo) and folks with the courage to speak up and dissent are tagged as
insurrectionists, extremists, and domestic terrorists.

Of course. I don't know why it wouldn't be called a sin. Does that mean someone will go straight to Hell if they have same-sex attraction? Not necessarily. It depends on their heart and if they sincerely want to follow the Lord.

Should we say dishonesty is a sin?

Not really, not during these days of situation ethics, and Machiavellian
management practices insisting that the end justifies the means; especially
wherein the so-called greater good is involved, viz: Lev 19:11 is obsolete
and out of vogue.

it is HIS always when those who come to him he will not turn away
If that was true then we could all go to Him and ask Him to remove all sins from our lives so that we could live a sinless life in the flesh... Now can you proclaim that you are now sinless and walking perfectly never doing wrong and always doing right with 100% consistency??? Now please don't tell me you are living without sin.. I spend a lot of time in here opposing sinlessness in the flesh preachers.. I hope your not another one of them?

As Christians we should walk in the spirit but not in the flesh. You will not find sinlessness in the flesh.

The Christian has a way of escape to bear every type of temptation. Some Christians have chosen martyrdom as the way of escape when compelled to deny their faith or worship idols.

If we sin, we should not say that it is no big deal, that everyone is going to sin. God made a way to avoid it.

If we sin, a provision has been made for our forgiveness through Christ.

Jesus spoke of cutting off one's hand or plucking out one's eye rather than sin. The book of Hebrews sats 'ye have not resisted unto blood striving against sin.'

A laxidaisical attitude toward sin is dangerous.

As Christians we should walk in the spirit

One of my past Sunday school classes was sometimes led by seminary
students as part of their training to become ministers, sort of like Med
students serving time in a hospital as interns.

Well; one morning the subject of walking in the Spirit came up, and during
the lecture the seminary guy frankly admitted that he didn't know how to do
it. So I asked permission to speak, and when called on, stood up and asked
the class if anyone there that day was walking in the Spirit. Not one hand
went up, and it was a Conservative Baptist church.

You know, walking in the Spirit is sort of like classic literature. Everyone
says we should have it in our libraries, but who ever actually gets around to
reading it. For example. I have a collection of Beatrix Potter's tales; but the
only one I've actually read is Jemima Puddle Duck. You see; I really should
read them all, but as yet have not done so, nor have any thoughts about
getting around to them; just like folks who say we should walk in the Spirit
but as yet have not done so; nor have any thoughts about getting around to
it.

The LGBT movement and other groups have worked really hard to obscure the realities about the topic of human sexuality. The idea that people are born with a specific orientation that is out of their control and are locked into it is a delusion and is retarded.

It's true that some aspects of sexuality begin subconsciously and are not within our full control.
-Attraction
-Arousal

And some aspects are within our control
-desire
-action

The first two are mostly biological and can happen whether you want them to, or not.
The second have to do with the will, and are controllable (excluding extreme cases).

Attraction and arousal are usually what people "struggle with", because they are the reaction of the body to a mixture of emotional and physical stimuli.

Desire is what you -in your will- want. You can "burn with lust" without even having an object of attraction or without even being physically aroused. Action is what you do with your desire.

Homosexual desire and homosexual acts are clear perversions that need to be preached against. Diplomatically, of course, but the truth of it firmly preached.

My point is 'homosexuall' originally had to do with being attracted to the same sex. That is how academics use the term. That is how probably the majority of Americans use it. That's what LGBT people think the term means.

But then sold older folks and fundamentalists use it to mean people who do same-sex sexual acts.

But if you preach 'homosexuality is a sin' then those with this problem may hear, "It is a sin to have a propensity to be attracted to the same sex."
Do you know any Christians who have done that?
Not personally. But there is a story of a man in Egypt....

A Christian out-debated a Jewish man in front of the Caliph and the lead bishop of the church. The Jewish man challenged the Christian to move a mountain, quoting a verse from Christ about moving mountains. The Caliph told the lead bishop to do it or he would kill all the Christians in Egypt. So the Christians fasted and prayed. The lead bishop of the Egyptian Orthodox Church had a supernatural experience that led him to one-eyed man named Simon, a shoemaker, who was carrying water.

This man joined him in prayer when the day of the challenge arrive. This event is is remembered by the Copts every year. They told me that the mountain moved, but they said it hopped for thirty minutes until it landed in it's new location thirty minutes away and that the maps from before and the maps later show it in different locations.

if the story is true, maybe Simon was one of those guys who had faith for literal interpretation. They say he removed his eye because of that other saying of Christ.

The story also has a Marian vision/apparition, which does not sit well with me with, btw.
