Hello brothers, how can i die to the desire of having a girlfriend, i know God is sovereign and i may fail in finding a partner so i want to find a way to be content with Christ and stop this fleshly desire because i want to be happy even if i remain single forever. Sometimes i feel like the only way to get a girlfriend is selling my soul so i dn't want that and maybe wanting a girlfriend is bad.

Wanting a girlfriend is as normal as wanting food and water. It's a desire that God put in all people. It is stronger in some than in others. The marriage relationship and sex drive were given to humanity before the fall.

The danger to us is that we allow desire to overrule wisdom and end up with an unsuitable spouse. I can assure you that it is not worth the grief. God may hold back from letting us meet the right person because we are not ready. God's grace is sufficient in any situation, including waiting for our heart's desire.

I've been on my own for about 25 years. I was divorced, because I married the wrong person. It took 9 years to find that out. I am now engaged, much to my surprise. I am 71 and I thought that I would be single until I left this life.

While you are waiting, I recommend that you watch Mark Gungor's marriage and dating seminars that you can find on youtube. When you get a gf, I suggest that you watch them together.

Selling your soul, not really possible.
Billions of people alive/have lived, did they all "sell their soul" for a partner?
The desire to have a gf is not wrong. Being overly focused on it is.
The answer is not losing that desire, but rather not letting your happiness rest on it. Plenty of people have learned to be happy without a partner, even if they want one.

And I can tell you having a partner doesn't guarantee anything. That's the thing most people who focus on finding someone miss. It may work out, lead to a good marriage and a long life together. Or you could argue for months and within six months get your heart broken. Or spend years in a relationship, only to have it end. So no need to rush into anything.

And I'm guessing you're a teen, which means even less reason to date. It's rare most teen relationships last for very long.
So there are a few reasons not to be in a hurry to date.
Not to mention the overly dramatic belief you'll never meet anybody.
Rather use your time single to do things you want and grow and become a better person. That way if/when you do meet someone you'll be content already and not wrongly rely on them to make you happy.

PMOW,

First thing is first.
If I were in your shoes, I'd definitely make sure that I was on speaking terms with God.
He wants to hear from us and you don't have to worry about selling your soul for a girlfriend or anything. Jesus already bought it. I Corinthians. " Ye are bought with a price."
Jesus suffered for ALL of our sins in His torturous death on the cross, so that we don't need to go to hell. There's just ONE requirement. I will post this short video if you have trouble with understanding it, please let me know. You write good English, just saying if you habla Espanol, I've got it.
After this we can talk girls. God can take care of that after you establish this first. Let me know if you have questions. This was to a school in Guyana.
Have a great day 😎👍

I wish I could have girl friend myself. I feel the same way brother. Many people are walking in darkness, and light has no Concord with darkness. Satan doesn't want Christian people seeing their real heart condition. Acts 5:3. But peter said, Ananias, why hath satan filled thine Heart to lie to the holy spirit, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Satan is aware of the decietfulness of mans heart. Therefore the devil continually at work to deceive the hearts and minds of people. Satan strives to keep men lost by blinding the minds of people. We must guard our heart against temptation that are prevalent in our society. Romans 3;4. Let God be true and every man a liar. These false preachers are blind leaders of the blind. The scriptures reminds us that the devil is a liar and the father of lies. John 13:2. And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him. We must never underestimate the power of satan's influence!!
Acts 7:51. Ye STIFFED neck and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the holy spirit; as your fathers did, so do ye. We see the majority is often wrong. The natural tendency of man is to oppose God and the people of God. Get the picture. The man who is most blessed of the Lord is the man who is seeking God with his whole heart. Only the redeemed have the holy spirit dwelling within them. Psalm 51:17. The sacrifice of God are broken spirit: a broken and contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Hold your head up high. Put your faith on. If it's God's plan for you then it will happen!

Why are you reviving so many old conversations? You realize they're years old, right? 🧟‍♂️
