What very honest admissions. But, they are also some indication of maybe... maybe why you're single? Or, is that by choice?

Of course I do not know you Tabin... and I don't mean to pick on you. It's so hard to express oneself sometimes in test-driven communications, and misunderstandings can easily erupt. Again, I'm not picking on you, but some of those very honest admissions do highlight some unnerving traits that maybe ought to be looked at?

(And yes, I am very self-aware and am trying to correct some of my own character flaws, trying to be aware of the log(s) in my own eye, as it were.)

This got a lot of creative responses that probably did more harm in attracting someone than good, too much info, lol.
Just trying to pick things up a bit here when it seems at a lull. It's actually a different mindset back then before covid and politics became forefront which is sad.

I will not be contributing too much to this particular thread though, since I've opened up in a few places here and have learned that there are people here that do not deserve to be privy to my personal confessions. However, overall I'd say this has the potential to be an interesting convo starter.

None of us deserve anything but....
There's a sort of strength shown in exposing oneself to criticism and navigating effectively through it if just to emerge stronger for it.

In a martial arts class, there is push-back which can make you stronger. Constructive criticism can make you stronger, if you are wise as the Bible defines wisdom. Being challenged in a debate can make you wiser, as you are forced to confront challenges to your beliefs.

However, there are battles that are unwise and counterproductive to take on. Do you agree with this or no? If not, then you enjoy the constant sparring. I don't. It's not edifying. It doesn't make me stronger. It just raises my blood pressure.

Some people here have shown themselves to be sweet, decent, classy and edifying. Others are self-centered, excessively sarcastic, ornery, or even have outright warped views. Exactly how does it benefit anyone to bare their souls to such? Can you tell me?

I pick and choose what I reveal here. And, as I did state in my previous post here, I have confessed some personal things in some of these threads. Perhaps you missed that or overlooked it?

Godzilla is a warrior. He must take on every threat. And, the Bible teaches us that there is a time to lay down our weapons and a time to pick them up. However, the Scriptures also tell us that we ought not to cast our pearls before swine or waste our time arguing with idiots (I hope you realize that I'm not calling you an idiot here).

In my business I meet a lot of interesting people, but the most interesting ones are the monsters.
But I missed most all of it :/
I don't know why but I feel like I'm trespassing when I venture into the singles forum.
I do try to avoid as much drama as I can manage (Not that I'm often successful and not saying that the singles forum is the hub for it) convinced that I possess an empath personality that too easily absorbs negative energy and is often thereby drained to exhaustion.
And thanks for reassuring me as I struggled to not wonder if you thought I was an idiot.

Here is a fact.

My phone is so old that my service provider sent me a 4g flip phone for free, they didn't even ask if i wanted it or not
...I should text them back with it like "what are you trying to say lol?"

On a serious note my phone is so old that the apps on it either don't work anymore or they are out of service. I can't even play a pac man game that i paid a dollar for anymore, i want my 99 cents back.
