Anyone heard of this new city they hope to build?
Partly sounds cool but mostly sounds like the setting for a zombie apocalypse or a great way for a rising Beast to force folks into a (relatively) small area for worship. Too easy, in my mind, to shut people down for a "pandemic" or for Big Brother to require certain things "or else".

Wonder how long it would take to build such a city? Seems like too big of an undertaking to be accomplished in my lifetime.

Genipher,

Two movies remind me of this, the Ridley Scott movie based on the Phillip k. Dick story, Blade runner. Perhaps a few others like matrix and that old Schwarzenegger movie.
The plan is to force people out of rural and urban areas and into compact cities to control humanity down to the minutiae. Every person is a commodity to be slaves and forced to worship the beast system until the actual Beast, False Prophet and Antichrist are in total control.

Speaking of the Saudis, Biden was criticized for meeting with that Crown Prince and fist bumping him. The Saudis had some reporter assonated, and folks didn't want Biden meeting with the Prince that ordered the assonation I guess.

Anyhoo, I happen to hear a comment on the radio the other day where a Saudi said something like:

"You people are judging us and our morals, and your Country and its Leaders have denied sixty three million peolpe the right to live. Keep your morals, we do not need them."

Does that Saudi have a point? Do we need to be telling the world what moral standard they should live by? I mean............we have denied sixty three million people the right to live; and that number grows every day.

just wondering

The royal family has all kinds in it...and I have no idea what he was talking about.

The royals making a reporter disappear is a nothing compared to some of what they have done. They are a monarchy and state they belong to one of the most strict sects of Islam around. They don't personally act as if they belong to a strict sect but....they claim it just the same.

They are not a democracy....nor do we want them to be one. They are the capital city/Nation of Islam....including the jihadists.
They have been brutal with people causing trouble within their borders. The Hodge is held there every year. The Hodge usually has several deaths by trampling every year and it's absolutely insane how many people get squeezed in a small space and uncontrolled.

We let the royals be....they want no trouble and the one that had the reporter "disappeared " likely got "punished" in some fashion. (Loss of toys or money or grounded to a compound)

The real family in power....we need to leave them alone. They are aligned with America and our ideals.

Yes, he has a point. One I happen to agree with. But it's also nt very regal to say such things either unless in a diplomatic setting and trying to negotiate a desired behavior for a particular outcome.

And...........right on cue.........Biden orders the assanation of a terrorist leader....... :)

hard to make this stuff up, huh?

Yes, i know that terrorist was considered a threat to our Naiton, but, truthfully, his assasination was more symbolic than advantageous, right? I mean, it's not like five or fifty others will spring up to take his place....

Mayhaps the Saudis considered that Journalist a threat to their Naitonal Security?j Hey, different folks have different ideas of what constitutes a "threat." :)

I say surprised and look at the development as the Saud family needs to bolster their economy with tourism or something as the only resource they have is oil and now they are trying to attract tourists. There is a post I did at 'I didn't know that' about another proposed city in a desert with possibly other implications??? Guess? There is also a post I put somewhere about water scarcity in mid east and shows I think a UAE country which gives an sense of what and how they develop over in that region. You could probably web search water scarcity and find it if not on this site as I don't know where it is.

I remember when Trump went over there to discuss the journalist being killed and came back saying
"Well they said they didn't do it so I guess that settles it"

No ones mentioned this in your thread yet but it's probably part of Saudi Arabia's program https://www.un.org/esa/earthsummit/saudi-cp.htm and them coming onboard with the Agenda 21,30 ect. plans. I think this because of the garden foliage and it being planned in a line to so that it clears away the population so that agriculture can be grown in the areas on each side of The Line and it's top. The thinking is that when the worlds population is around 9,10 billion people then there will no longer be enough "arable land",(land that can be plowed and food grown) to be able to sustain/feed 10 billion and so those leaders who see this have discussed several times moving those from urban areas into cities like this https://sdgs.un.org/topics/sustainable-cities-and-human-settlements to free up the surrounding land to grow crops, raise cows ect. The US came onboard with this in about 1992-93 and onward... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agenda_21 Anyway to me it looks just like Agenda 21,30 ect.

I didn't know about that possibility. Very interesting! Makes a lot of sense!
