I just thought she meant bisexual when she said binary rather than just say normal or straight.
Just to wrap up the details...
Anyhow, her church was a mess, sadly.
She told me her best friend wanted to get married. It was a guy but she wasn't his fiance'. He was a church member and his dad was a deacon. Now this is not a Unitarian or Rainbow flag main street liberal church. This was a Baptist church... Independent Baptist . This dude explained to the preacher that he wanted to marry his boyfriend and the pastor to do the ceremony. The pastor told him in no uncertain terms that he doesn't believe in that and that it was an abomination. Next thing you know, the church was upset, pastor was fired and I was invited to the church.
While I was visiting, the deacons questioned me and I was up front and very clear that they wouldn't like me either because I have a biblical view on marriage and was disgusted by the LGBPTQ movement. We parted ways and that's how far things have gotten in a mere 10 years or so. Some of the most "Bible believing" churches have changed a lot.
Changed a lot. Yes. As in, from Bible believing.

A lot of churches have been split down the middle over the subject. I know the United Church in Canada split over it. I believe the Methodists too. Sad to see that happening.

I voted for it to be outlawed nationwide. Legalising gay marriage has done more harm than good and our society continues to rot because even so called Christians are becoming progressive, they want to preach inclusivity and acceptance with everything that is immoral. The other week I heard a story that beastiality was legal somewhere in Europe!
The Constitution was dated 'in the year of our Lord' followed by the year. The Constitution implies that Jesus is Lord. Is that sufficient legal grounds for federal courts to reject state approval of so-called 'gay marriage'?
The SCOTUS should overturn the former evil and rebellious ruling. Letting it go back to the states may fit well with our Constitution. One of the problems with Democracy is when the majority of the population has a wicked political opinion.

I have never been a president of the United States or a member of Congress, but for retirement purposes, I identify as a former president of the United States and a former senator. And I identify as being old enough to collect money and have their health care plan. But they haven't given it to me. Will you contact your senator about this injustice being inflicted on me?WHAT? My wife had a prophecy about Christians learning to grow their own food, to share, to save the seed.
I've thought a bit about the well thing. Water is expensive. I don't know about the water table in my neighborhood or if there are any restrictions on wells. I was thinking of barrels to catch rain, but dry spells can ask a while. A neighbor sued because the city charged sewage on the all the water he brought in, while he was putting it on the lawn. So now they will install an outdoor usage meter for 1000. Maybe i should get that and put in a well.
A solar panel company wanted 60K for a system that would not provide all I needed, with no battery storage that shuts off if there is a blackout. They sell to the power company, and I so I wanted to know how it would shut off the outflow to keep from killing a lineman, and they said that I'd lose power. What's the point? They were charging me 30 or 40K for installation over the price of panels I've priced, trying to sell me by comparing it to what I'd be paying the power company already instead of market costs. I'm not handy enough to put them up. I specialize and I'd like a specialist to put them up.
The well, solar panels, and batteries would be good. We've got a garden and freezers and some dry food storage, and a deal to buy sheep and have someone else raise them, and a couple of ducks in the yard for eggs. Ducks eggs are better than chicken, and my neighbors produce more eggs than chickens. I think ducks are nicer than chickens.
I'm not as war hawkish as you are. I don't consider the right to have firearms to be a God-given right, just one in our legal documents. I don't consider the political ideas of the founders of the US to all be inspired by God
