All scripture was written for us. Not all scripture is written to us.

When dissecting any verse of scripture. Ask yourself, of whom, to whom, with what words, what time, where, to what intent, with what circumstances, considering what is written before and what follows any single verse context.
^^^Myles Coverdale, Bible theologian/translator^^^

So, ask: Who is writing? Who’s it written to? What are the circumstances? What’s the context before? What's the context after? .

God doesn't change (Heb 13:8). However, He does change the way He deals with mankind (dispensations). Noah, Abraham, pre-resurrection Nation Israel & the post-resurrection Body of Christ/Church.

2 Tim 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth
(MY NOTE: The dividing line [of covenants] is Christ's resurrection. Also see Heb 9:16-18)

We need to keep the pre-resurrection Nation of Israel teaching/doctrine separate from the post-resurrection Body of Christ/Churches teaching/doctrine.

Rom 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
MY (NOTE: ALL scripture is written for our LEARNING. ALL scripture isn't written for our DOCTRINE. Example: NT believers aren't required to bring an animal sin sacrifice to Temple Priests)

The epistles written by the apostle Paul (Rom - Phil, probably Heb as well) chosen by the resurrected Jesus & sent to gentiles (Acts 22:21, Gal1:16, 2:1). His primary audience is post-resurrection Church Age believers. Many things that were applicable to pre-resurrection (under Mosaic law) Nation Israel. Aren't applicable to today's post-resurrection (under grace) Body of Christ/Church.

Rom 10:4 Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
(MY NOTE: Post-resurrection believers obtain righteousness thru faith, not thru law keeping).

Rom 5:13 For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
(NOTE: Post resurrection, a believer's sins are imputed onto Christ & His righteousness onto them. See Gal 3:16, Rom 4:6,8,11,22,23,24, 2 Col 5:21)

Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
(MY NOTE: Post resurrection believers aren't under Mosaic law. Because of faith in Jesus' sin atonement & resurrection they under God's unmerited/unearned/undeserved favor -Grace.)

Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
(MY NOTE: It's not our law keeping/works. It's by the faith ""OF CHRIST"". When we trust Christ, we become justified = Judicially Declared Righteous before God. Thru our faith, in the faith OF CHRIST His finished sin atoning work. Not thru our own works)

Habakkuk 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
(MY NOTE: The just = those judicially declared righteous by God. Shall live by HIS FAITH)

Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.
(MY NOTE: From Faith to Faith. It's Christ's sinless Faithful payment/work & our Faith place in it)

Ron 5:20 But the Law came to increase and expand [the awareness of] the trespass [by defining and unmasking sin]. But where sin increased, [God’s remarkable, gracious gift of] grace [His unmerited favor] has surpassed it and increased all the more,
(MY NOTE: Faith in God's grace supersedes our sin. Why? Because His Grace [Jesus] is greater than sin)

Why do you write about the law given to us by GOD being dead? Do you not know the words of the son of GOD, Yeshua that say clearly that the the law will never be abolished;

Christ Came to Fulfill the Law
Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

1Jn 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
1Jn 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
1Jn 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

1Jn 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1Jn 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
1Jn 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
1Jn 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
1Jn 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Romans 5:18 - 6:2
18 Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,
21 so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Dead to Sin, Alive to God
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?
2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

What do you mean by "pre-resurrection nation of Israel" teaching/doctrine, etc., when God's word is encompassed in one book with a perfect totality of the beauty of His holiness and perfect love?

yas that's it, the law is for sinners.
If all men are sinners, and I believe we are, and fall short of the glory of God, what are we to do?

I believe Jesus Yeshua, and I hear every word that proceeded from His Mouth. In this I feel secure, but at the same time, no mystery, I wonder aabout the above.

Two books/testaments two separate covenants.

I mean those OT believers that were under Mosaic law [pre-resurrection]. Their cover/cloak for sin was the Levitical Preisthood & animal sacrifices.

After a sinless Christ's atoning death & resurrection. Believers [post-resurrection] are under a new better Christ administered sin management system.

The 9th chapter of the book of Hebrews is about the change from The Old Covenant to the New. Link provided under vs 16 below

Heb 9:
15 For this reason He is the Mediator and Negotiator of a new covenant [that is, an entirely new agreement uniting God and man], so that those who have been called [by God] may receive [the fulfillment of] the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has taken place [as the payment] which redeems them from the sins committed under the obsolete first covenant.

16 For where there is a will and [d]testament involved, the death of the one who made it must be established

The OP points out that Faith in Jesus sin atoning payment is greater than any sin. Rom 5:18-21

No place does the Op promote sin. I will refer to these verses for the scriptural outcome of one's faith in Christ:

Rom 1:5 "Through him we received grace" & apostleship "to call all the Gentiles to the obedience" "that comes from faith" for his name’s sake.

Rom 16:26 but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, "so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience" "that comes from faith"

The Good Shepherd declared that He has His Original Flock, and that He has another He will be joining to it.

This makes all of the sheep One Flock. There is only one true Israel, and apparently another here on earth that is not the true Israel.

You are using a confusing term for OT believers because none of us in the new covenant have been resurrected yet.

The PROMISE = Holy Spirit will be given

Luke 24:49 And, behold, I send ""the promise"" of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high
(MY NOTE: Jesus teaches he will send "the promise" the Father made him)

Act 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for "the promise" of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me
(MY NOTE: Jesus tells them to wait in Jerusalem for "the promise" of the Father)

5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence.
(MY NOTE: Jesus foretells the giving/baptism/out pouring of the indwelling Holy Spirit to come)

PROMISE Fulfilled: 1st outpouring of Christ's salvation sealing indwelling Holy Spirit

Acts 2:
1 When the day of Pentecost was fully come

4 They were all filled with the Holy Ghost, & began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance

Hopefully these verses will help

2 Tim 1:14 Refers to the Holy Spirit as a Guard & Deposit.

2 Cor 5:5, Eph 1:14 & 2 Cor 1:22. Refer to the Holy Spirit as "the earnest" = Pledge or Promise.

Eph 1:13, 2 Cor 1:22 & Eph 4:30 Refer to the Holy Spirit as a Seal.

2 Tim 1:14 The Holy Spirit who dwells within us, guard the good deposit entrusted to you
(MY NOTE: The Holy Spirit dwelling within us. Is God's deposit & guards us until the day of redemption)

2 Cor 5:5 God, who also hath given unto us the "earnest" of the Spirit
(MY NOTE: God's Holy Spirit dwelling within us is the earnest. Earnest translated from the Greek word: arrabon. Also means a pledge)

2 Cor 1:22 Who hath also "sealed us" & "given the earnest" of the Holy Spirit in our hearts
(MY NOTE: God has placed His Holy Spirit in the believer's heart. As a pledge & a SEAL until the soon coming day of our redemption)

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
(MY NOTE: You heard about Christ's finished sin redemptive payment & resurrection. When you believed/trusted, Christ sealed/baptized you with His Holy Spirit).

Eph1:14 Which is the "earnest" of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession
(MY NOTE: The Holy Spirit by which Christ baptizes/seals & indwells us. Is the earnest = a down payment, a pledge, a promise, a guarantee)

Eph 4:30 grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are "sealed" unto the day of redemption
(MY NOTE: Believers are SEALED with God's Holy Spirit. It's a pledge, promise, guard & guarantee that Christ will come for us)

Although the pre-resurrection believers in Christ never received the baptism of/with Christ's Holy Spirit they were also saved by faith. He knows every heart & those that believed God would provide the way to redemption were saved.

Finally:
Jude 1:1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ
(MY NOTE: Believers/saints are sanctified by God & PRESERVED in Jesus Christ)

Jude:
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling & to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy
(MY NOTE: God is both willing & able to guarantee & maintain the salvation He has given us)

25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory & majesty, dominion & power, both now & ever
(MY NOTE: Nothing can pluck away [Sin included] a believer. Because Christ [our advocate 1 Jn 2:1] is able to keep us faultless)

Rom 8:
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(MY NOTE: Once justified/forgiven nothing can separate a Christian from God’s love)

Jn 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
(MY NOTE: Christ is every believer's defense attorney/advocate & He's the Judge [Jn 5:22]. Sin verdict NOT GUILTY!)

Jn 5:24 “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, the person who hears My word [the one who heeds My message], and believes and trusts in Him who sent Me, has (possesses now) eternal life [that is, eternal life actually begins—the believer is transformed], and does not come into judgment and condemnation, but has passed [over] from death into life.
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+5&version=AMP

Jn 10:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand
(MY NOTE: Nothing can sever a believer from the love of Christ)

Rev 1:5 Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Jesus Christ that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
(MY NOTE: When we place our faith in Jesus faithful sin atoning work & resurrection. That ALL our sins are remissed. Also see Col 1:14 & 2:13)

Eph 1:
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
(MY NOTE: HAS MADE <past tense/already done> US ACCEPTED in/thru Christ)

7 In Jesus Christ we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins,
(MY NOTE: Believers have <PRESENT TENSE redemption forgiveness of sins >SINS IS PURAL! Also see Col 1:14 & 2:13)

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
(MY NOTE: Salvation is obtained, by God's GIFT of grace = God's unmerited/underserved favor. Thru faith placed in Jesus faithful sin atoning work & resurrection.1 Cor 15:1-4)

Eph 4:32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
(MY NOTE: Written to believers see Col 1:2. Forgive each other as God forgave <PAST TENSE> you.)

Col 3:13 Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
(MY NOTE: Written to believers see Col 1:2. Vs 13 As the Lord has < PAST TENSE > forgiven you)

1 Jn 2:12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
(MY NOTE: Believers you ARE forgiven [not just until your next sin] for Christ's name's sake)

1 Jn 5:
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
(MY NOTE: He that believes ibn Christs sin atoning death & resurrection HAS LIFE < NOW-PRESENT TENSE)

13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
(MY NOTE: Written to believers that you may KNOW that you HAVE RIGHT NOW/PTESENT TENSE > eternal life)

Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
(MY NOTE: Christ obtained ETERNAL REDEMPTION for us)

Heb 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
(MY NOTE: Christ PERFECTED FOREVER those that are sanctified)

Heb 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
(MY NOTE: This new sin management blood covenant is EVERLASTING! Not just 1 year or until the next time to stumble or fall)

Ps 37:28 For the Lord loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.
(MY NOTE: The Lord doesn't forsake His saints/believers, but, PRESERVES them FOREVER!)

Believer's sins Past-Present-Future are forgiven & washed away via an EVERLASTING COVENANT!

That is the point I was trying to make with verses posted.

This was as a result of your response in #8
