That's a good question. I never message staff members. I think in all the years I've been using social sites like this, I probably only messaged a few staff members of any site that I've been on. (((shruggs)))

Hello Willow, I didn't know that we couldn't do so. I just went to Members>Find Member, typed in RoboOp and then clicked on "Start a Conversation" (and the window that allows for a PM between the two of us appeared .. though I did not actually send a PM to him).

I know that I have talked to him via PM in the not-too-distant past. Has something changed that no longer allows us to do so :unsure:

Thanks!!

~Deut
p.s. - you could attract their attention to a thread like this one by tying in their name in a post with the "@" sign in front of it. That wouldn't be quite the same thing as a PM conversation between just the two of you, of course, but you would be able to talk to one another out here on the forum boards that way (in this or any in other thread).

You could go to their profile and message them there if you cannot
initiate PM. Also alert through using the @ symbol before their name.
I doubt they want to be contacted about questions others could answer.

Well I don't really want everyone knowing somethings

Ok I do not see an @ before their name on my laptop. Btw I should be able to get a hold of someone in charge in pc. This is why I did not want to put this on here.It is a question only they can answer,sigh.

You just type @ and then the name of the person. I don't blame you for not wanting to make everything public. :)

Example:

The @ symbol is paired with the number 2.

@Willow

Now you should receive an alert/notification that I mentioned you in a post, with a link to this post :)

Deuteronomy, users who have been around for as long as you have were grandfathered when we went to a subscription system for access to private messaging.
