If the Earth were flat---

I figured out this morning why nobody has flown to the ice wall at the edge of the earth and brought back pictures: pilots will not fly there.

Pilots are trained to stay in the middle of the air and away from the edges.

As I understand it (Gary, Moses, correct me if I'm wrong) they believe the observable planets are balls in our sky, much like the sun and moon - and they believe they are all MUCH smaller than the earth, nowhere near planetary or even lunar status.

So, some FE's make fun of those know Earth isn't flat. But they believe other planets are globes.

Does that make sense? Why is Earth the only flat one?

The earth isn't a planet. A planet is a wandering star. There are two types of stars. Fixed stars, which move around in the heavens above the earth in a fixed cycle marking the months and year. The Bible calls these the Mazzaroth. Then there are wandering stars, which are the planets, and these do not follow the circuit of the Mazzaroth, but they have their own unique movements above the earth to mark out the days and hours and seasons. By the way, the peculiar movements of the planets are a big problem for the balltards that listened to the atheists instead of the Bible.

I was just going by your use of the word planets in this partial excerpt of your prior statement.

That they think Jupiter, Mercury, etc... are balls in our sky is even dumber than first thought.

Dumb,not ignorant. Ignorant holds for the chance opportunity to glean corrective education.

Insisting the other bodies in our solar system are mere balls while Earth is a flat disc is just indefensibly dumb.

We can't take that seriously.
No kidding. No way they're truly serious.

If it happens I'm wrong and they are that's not product of the D word. That's the S word.
Please don't let them to influence children. Please Lord, not that. Not more of that. Please.

Really? Listen to the Bible as someone who refers to non-FE's as balltards understands it?

Conclusion There is nothing in real science that contradicts Scripture. The Word of God does not teach a flat earth, nor has any historically reputable Christian scholar in the past 2,000 years.
