Thanks for sharing. The world needs to hear from you. The corporate media is so biased and censors truth here as in your country. I saw that lady who was knocked down and trampled by police on horseback. Videos got out mainly by cell phones. I couldn't believe my eyes the apartments that had guards not allowing residents to go outside for fresh air. Imprisoned in solitary confinement for weeks. That is tyranny by anyone's definition.
Glad you are living in a place where you are comfortable.
Yes its been crazy.
Our last home town of 7000.
We were 160 km from any place for 18 mths that had covid.
Yet this was what they did.
The rules came in, in mid central Vic summer. We had temps in the high 30's to mid 40's Celcius.
Now this, we are in the Aussie bush. We had to wear masks every time we went outside. The police would fine you if you didn't. We had a 5km restriction put on us. Our town from one end to the other was just 3 km either way. Surrounded by bush, Forrest's.
We were only allowed 2 hrs a day outside. (No covid here, and hours drive from anywhere that had it) My wife and I, and others used our 2 lousy hrs to go to the edge of town, park the car and go for a bush walk.
The Police, drove around, in 4wds, checking our cars and number plates and fined people hundreds of dollars, yes on dirt road tracks, if they were just out of the 5 km limit! What on earth were we posing a risk to!? Koalas, Kangaroos!?
The insane rule applied right across the state. Small hamlets, of just 10, 20 people. Could only go outside for 2 hrs!
It has caused a crazy increase of mental health issues.
Even to this day. I live in a bush town, I see people so scared and frightened that they are driving in their car through bush areas, forrests, on their own, wearing a mask!
It is insane. I see it every week and saw 2 doing it yesterday when I went out for a bush walk.
