I appreciate your concern for the academic. I am concerned about the direct and immediate usefulness of your lesson.
Your lesson concluded that Jesus would restore Israel, no need for work from us. I won't disagree.

Who is Abraham's Seed?

Who is the elect?

While this is true, the Abrahamic Covenant included many others as "Abraham's seed" also. So (1) all believers are Abraham's "seed" and (2) the twelve tribes of Israel in redeemed and restored Israel will also be "Abraham's seed". Paul was focused on Christ as the seed of of Abraham but then he also said "if ye be in Christ".

The root of the tree is Jesus Christ. (Rev 22:16).
The branches broken off - are some of the Jews.
The wild/natural branches grafted into the tree - are the Gentile believers.

The two key verses as to your question, are:

Rom 11:17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and thou, being a wild olive, wast grafted in among them, and didst become partaker with them of the root of the fatness of the olive tree;
Rom 11:24 For if thou wast cut out of that which is by nature a wild olive tree, and wast grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree; how much more shall these, which are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

Since the Gentiles have become partakers with them, obviously, the Gentiles have been adopted into their family, their tree and their root. For He (Christ) is the first fruit and they (Jews) are the first fruits. However, both are adopted into God's family by Grace and not the works of the Law.

I want to know how I am going to know what God thinks is that group?

Right now, I have a group of people who claim Moses, but don't follow the Law. Claim Jew but can't show a Lineage to Jacob. Claim a place for Moses, but can't prove a Levite to undertake the deeds Moses requires. These Disqualify under The LAW.

Then I get into my faith, which says that only Jesus is the truth. And now, I have a group of people whose core doctrine says Jesus is boiling in Hell for being an Idolator. So I'm pretty sure THIS disqualifies them as following God.

No, you are the one saying that 6 million fake Jews were murdered in the Holocaust. It happened before I was born also, what has that to do with the price of tea in China? Now who uses synagogues? Not Christians.
