Well we have several machines that make up the pizza. They make the dough mixture themselves by adding the flour mixture to a big mixer. Than a machine cuts it, then rolls it, cuts it, and so on. The worse job so far is to be on the line after it flash freezes. Your fingers and toes can go numb. My job is utility . Means I don't usually get stuck in one spot all day. Which for me is a great blessing.
A Jill of all trades, master of some. It's handy to have a floater that can adapt to anywhere.

Im afraid Ive never been a fan of frozen pizza myself. I think it tastes so much better when made fresh to order. Some foods dont freeze well.

I hope you find a job thats a bit more human that you love...it doesnt sound like much fun labelling that many boxes a day. I think I would be terrible at it.

I need to be creative or I will go crazy in the workplace I find.
I do a number of jobs. They needed it done right away. I am fast at it. Today I caught pizzas from overlapping on the line.Plus did packaging and oh yes caught flying pizza's.

I didn't catch any flying pizzas but I think I've had the best day I've had in years. A new medication appears to be working better than I could've imagined! I feel like I'm walking on thin ice and need to be careful. I'll keep an eye out for UAPs...unidentified aerial pizza! :)

I do ask the pizza people to label their pizzas with the topping on the boxes though
I know they are made fresh on the day so am not worried about the date. They will be eaten as soon as the children get them for lunch.

I've tried various cow milk alternatives. They work ok for me on things like breakfast
cereals, but don't seem to cut it for flat white coffees. Lactose Free Milk does tho 👍
What is a flat white coffee? I have never heard of it before :giggle:

I like unsweetened cashew milk in my coffee :D

Neither almond nor soy milk are anywhere near as good
for this purpose, as they both have too much flavor.

I do mix it with evaporated skim milk :)

Otherwise I do not drink milk at all ;)

Though many decades ago, I recall guzzling it after too much to drink the night before

You mentioned that "I Love Lucy" show with the chocolate production line...

That was a hilarious episode, and gave a great impression of what your job entails on some days :D

Not drinking milk should not be equated with not consuming dairy products, though ;)

I eat a lot of yoghurt, and cheese is also a staple :D Havarti, Cheddar, and Mozzarella :)

Well ended up having to quit my job. I got frostbite yesterday from handling for almost 3 hr.s flash frozen pizza. I found out it gets to a -320 degrees f. I found out would of been worse if I had not went from working that to working catching warm baked pizza dough coming down the line. I guess helped me. My fingers hurt but are not as bad as they could be. They will heal up. Things like this make me want God to just give me the finances to not have to work again. They offered me a higher paying position, well 2 different ones. But yeah I will pass.

I watched them making pizzas at my pizza outlet, they have a moving conveyer belt oven, just like those toasters that rotate.

If you cook too many pizzas it might hold up the line. I never worked in a pizza parlour but I did have a job to make toasted sandwiches and flip burgers at a takeaway.

I find it super weird you'd cook all those pizzas just to freeze them! Isnt that a kind of waste of energy?? It would be like freezing a roasted lamb to me. Why?!

Praying God will provide all you need Willow

There was an urban myth that if you glugged on milk the day after it would fix the head. My theory was that the belly ache you got from downing so much moo juice at least took your mind off your sore head. Half a glass of wine and I go to sleep anyway, so not a problem I have to deal with, fortunately.

I got frostbite during a ski trip when I was in high school back in the late 70's. It was 70 degrees below zero with the wind-chill factor that night, and I got frostbite in all of my toes and all of my fingers. When I got home that night, I dipped my fingers and toes in hot water, which, as I learned the hard way, is the worst thing that you could ever do. That's definitely one of the most physically painful experiences of my life. I was told that I had permanent nerve damage in my fingers and toes, but they all operate just fine now.

Ouch. I thought you guys were supposed to bury yourselves in snow caves during winter, so you wouldn't get bitten by those nasty frosts!

So sorry to hear that happened. Yeah my fingers still have pain in them atm. But been told it is more like frostnip not as bad. I keep praising God for healing me. Still have joint pains, stiffness, numbness at times. But getting much better.
I knew better than to put in hot water . We had a person on bivouac got it on her toes in our tent. The medic put her feet on his stomach. Said never dip in hot water. I know the pain made me sick to my stomach. I am glad your fingers and toes work fine though.
