For the record: Phoneman-777 and Snacks are going to be taking a little break. It is reprehensible when two supposed brothers in Christ feel the need to resort to outright disgusting character attacks and innuendo due to a doctrinal dispute.
Actually what’s reprehensible is someone consistently referring to Christians as children of the devil and you allowing it to take place. And for the record I don’t character attack Christians so do the math.

It was also Christ who said a new covenant I make not like the old covenant which ye break.

You REBEL always refusing the word of God. If He tells you mourn you refuse, if He tells you make merry you refuse.
If you refuse to obey Christ's Ten Commandments, it's not going to go well with you, friend.

You yourself are in heresy, will you not police yourself.

The Holy Ghost is very well able to police the church ... but He will do it in ways which you do not understand ... you need spiritual eyes and ears to see it.
You are a commandment breaker, called "the least" by those in heaven watching you break them and teach others to do so, and Christ is not pleased with that, friend.

So, it is your opinion that the Lord Jesus fulfilled PARTS of the Law but not all.
No, Christ fulfills all of the Mosaic Law shadows which pointed to the future. The Sabbath isn't a shadow pointing to anything future, but a memorial to the past, and I shouldn't have to convince any thinking person of this, but the OSAS crowd is so desperate to make the "sabbath" of Colossians 2:16 KJV refer to the Ten Commandments that they're willing to abandon common sense.

funny, because Christ never called them His commands.

and, on top of that, on the Mount of Transfigeration , God the Father came down and said of the Son- " this is my beloved Son, hear Him"

so, that means what Christ said while on earth, not what the Father said to Moses at Sinai.

No one gains spiritual salvation by their deeds, nor does anyone loose their spiritual salvation by their deeds.

There is no debate, this is the foundation of the Gospel.
Oh, wow, I thought we could earn salvation!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

(Let's get something straight: deeds are the OUTWARD evidence of our INWARD chosen spiritual condition, and those who refuse to keep God's commandments outwardly prove Jesus is far from their heart and will go straight to hell. PLEASE READ 1 JOHN 2:3-4 KJV)

Christ spoke the Ten Commandments at Sinai. Christ said in Psalms 78:1 "Give ear, O My people, to My Law".

See what I did there?

" I have not spoken of Myself, but the Father which sent Me, He gave Me a commandment; what i should say and what i should speak"

so, Christ says what the Father says.

not to mention. " you have heard it said,....... but i say to you.

Trinity phonedude, Trinty.

And yes, your statement proves you believe salvation is earned because you make it clear that commandment keeping is necessary for salvation because those who refuse go to hell, so you save yourself by keeping the commandments.

really ... what is this commandment which I have broken?

You do not love the brethren ... that is serious.

He never gave me 10 commandments, those were nail with Him to the cross. He gave the Jews the 10 commandments and they broke it as do you so He made a new covenant not like the old one which they broke.

You are not in a covenant relationship with God for the old covenant is gone.

Where did you get that theology from ? ? ?

I used to be a Volunteer Prison Chaplain, in two super-max Prisons, and your theology, Makes Prison Ministry seem like a joke. I KNOW THE LORD CALLED ME TO BE A VOLUNTEER CHAPLAIN, and when we get to heaven, I want you to look me up, and the one standing by my Right Side used to be a Murderer, SAVED BY GRACE, and LOVES THE LORD NOW and FOREVER.

I want you to try to make that theology square with Scripture:

Mark 3:28-29 (HCSB)
28 I assure you: People will be forgiven for all sins and whatever blasphemies they may blaspheme.
29 But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”—

People can be forgiven for all sins, EXCEPT one who rejects CHRIST as their LORD and Savior, which is the same as rejecting the work of the Holy Spirit on the human heart. Salvation has NOTHING TO DO with Works, but rather, FAITH that JESUS DID IT ALL, BEFORE TIME BEGAN.

Titus 3:5-7 (ESV)
5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,
6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

So when did that all HAPPEN ? ? ?

Titus 1:2 (NCV)
2 That faith and that knowledge come from the hope for life forever, which God promised to us
before time began. And God cannot lie.

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

So what is the purpose for GOOD WORKS? Only a way to LOVE HIM BACK, because we know HE Saved Us.

One more Statement:
How many Do you think Paul murdered before the Damascus Road incident? ? ?
We know he was involved in the Murder of Steven, How Many More ? ? ?

1 Timothy 1:15 (ESV)
15 The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.

I absolutely believe, God is the author of Poetic Justice. So don't be surprised if He may choose to have two murderers stand on either side of you, AS WE WORSHIP BEFORE THE THRONE. Yes, I believe the Rapture may be SOON! You have a good day!
I did not say murderer could not be saved. Paul was a judicious murderer before he was saved.

Hebrews 4:1-11
1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

"Thinking person"? The Sabbath ABSOLUTELY is pointing to the future.

Just like the Passover Lamb. It was a memorial of the past. AND a prophecy of future events.

Did you just forget about Hebrews 4? That's a pretty big thing to forget. I suppose if you forget Matthew 11:28-30, and most of the rest of the NT you could convince Christians of just about anything. If you could get them to forget too.

Not on my watch.

Christ spoke the Ten Commandments at Sinai. Christ said in Psalms 78:1 "Give ear, O My people, to My Law".

See what I did there?
We see you ATTEMPTING to conflate the Old Covenant with the New Covenant.

But people who KNOW the difference aren't fooled.
