isn't that an easy one?

He is not beholden to the sabbath; the sabbath is beholden to Him

in the context He says this He gives two examples of the letter of the law being broken while the ones doing so not being accountable to it: David eating shewbread, priests working in the temple on sabbath. those are illustrations of His meaning
Not quite....not saying that you are wrong....but Jesus with his "I am" statements usually had something more specific in mind as to his authority and power and majesty.

The military is the only part of government that I have respect for.
While this is completely off topic, your comment deserves a response. You have probably not kept current on the US military, which has gone as extreme Leftist and "Woke" as the current illegitimate administration. To abandon billions of dollars worth of materiel to the Taliban and then to waste billions of dollars on the pointless war (while the majority of weapons go missing) in Ukraine speaks poorly of both the military and the administration. And then to fire thousands of capable soldiers and airmen because they refused the vaccine was not only unconstitutional but illegal.

One could have respected them had the Special Forces and/or the Marines marched to the White House and arrested Joe Biden on January 20, 2020. He should have been tried by a military tribunal for high crimes and misdemeanors, including treason. Had this happened America would not be in the disastrous straits it finds itself now.

Now a case can be made for the vinegar on the hyssop breaking the vow...but I'm thinking that it was allowed because it was finished at that time.
Psalm 69
Psalm 69 said:
19 You know how I am scorned, disgraced and shamed;
all my enemies are before you.
20 Scorn has broken my heart
and has left me helpless;
I looked for sympathy, but there was none,
for comforters, but I found none.
21 They put gall in my food
and gave me vinegar for my thirst.

Ahhh yes...but if Jesus died before them (because he was...spear to the side proved that) Then he was already gone.
Elvis had already left the building.

And if Jesus was hairless on the road to Emmaus....that would make it difficult to recognize him.

And that would satisfy the requirements of the Nazarite Vows....and He being the High Priest himself didn't go before the Temple or Tabernacle which are just shadows of the REAL THING....He went to the real one in Heaven.

He, himself the sin offering.

Allow me to enlighten you with regard to America and our Executive branch of government, of which the United States military in toto is a part.

The United States military did not abandon those weapons to the Taliban!

The Commander In Chief of the U.S Military, "President" Joe Biden did!

Now you know.

Nothing is quite so shameful as a foreigner throwing garbage on America while demonstrating they know jack about America, but tons about garbage.

Did Jesus drink alcohol?

Sure. The Bible speaks of wine as something that makes you happy. It was used for celebrations. Context makes things clear.

There came a time when Jesus stopped drinking wine, though. It would probably be wise for us to do likewise.

Matthew 26:29 Context

26And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 29But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

We shall celebrate with wine when we all get to Heaven, but now is the time to be sober...

1 Peter 4:7

“But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.”

Like what does it mean that Jesus was "Lord of the Sabbath ".
It means that He was God and hence above any and all law. We are fortunate that He is good, because he is bound by no law (including Sabbath laws.)

Well that sure puts a kibosh on communion.

Drinking alcohol is not a sin.

Getting drunk on alcohol is.

That Jesus stopped drinking wine before crucifixion tells us he drank wine. He was preparing himself for sacrifice and fasting from human indulgences in order to be that last sacrificial lamb on the last sin altar.

Jesus came to set us Free, but the law of freedom is not to help us sin. Follow as God leads you.

So called "Spirits" might better be known as attempts at Pharmacia, though they do fit the definition of Drunkenness in how people use them. There isn't much difference. If you're drinking to change your Spirit, that's Pharmacia as I can tell, and that is a sin, you're replacing God's spirit with a drug. If you're getting drunk, that is named a sin too, probably for the same reason.

Some people find drinking is perfectly acceptable, and they say it doesn't make them stumble. But it's highly addictive, and if you find yourself ever trying to get it, you're probably addicted.

"Proverbs 31:6: Give beer to one who is dying and wine to one whose life is bitter."
However, this is a claim under the law. It might be that this is not actually useful for us now.

I'm sure you would agree that there are a couple things we must not do. I do agree that wine is made of grapes and grapes are a gift from God. (y)

btw, I do not drink wine myself, but I will not judge others that do.
