Abraham was the first man to receive the Gospel.
The Holy Spirit in the Old Testament is a fine study to do.Ok, and…
The Holy Spirit in the Old Testament is a fine study to do.
One of the better ones.
I highly recommend it.
He received the Gospel of Elohim. He came to know that He is our Redeemer. He even spoke to the Three Angels of our Maker. This is not some kind of doctrine of a sect it is the Word,.What message did Abraham receive? Was it how Christ died for our sins, as buried, and rose again the third day?

In Genesis, 22, Abraham prophesied t hat God would provide, Himself, a Lamb for the offering. I know this is a prophecy, for when the Angles prevented him from continuing the offering of Isaac up, he discovered a ram in a thicket caught by its horns which he offered un in the stead of Isaac. The wording was not some error of the Word, but what was to come.
If you need more, read Genesis in careful prayer and meditation. It truly is all there.
King Daavid wrote of the crucifixion in the Psalms..A picture, a type is not the gospel of the death, burial and resurrection. We can look back and see it as a type. There are pictures all throughout the OT, but the cross of Jesus was a hidden mystery. Heck, even Jesus’ disciples had no clue of the cross before it happened.
I saw the Holy Spirit flying as a golden dove
I was in the car I saw him in left side of wing mirror of car.
Matthew 3:16-17
King James Version
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Acts 1:8
King James Version
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
John 16:13
King James Version
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Acts 2:3-4
King James Version
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
King Daavid wrote of the crucifixion in the Psalms..
Zechariah wrote of the Messiah's duties when He was to be incarnated, Chapter 3.
Surely Abraham knew this too for he was told he would be the father of many and the nations would bless themselves in him
Are you certain your faith is there to believe? Reading all of the Word from Genesis to the final amen of Revelation wil convince anyone.

Once more, King David wrote about the coming crucifixion of Jesus, Yeshua. There are other layered mentions of itin the law and other writings of the Word. You must read It before correcting it. I think I will not continue in this , your, vein of contributions. Not one person in the OT was "looking forward" to the cross of Jesus Christ.
I like how you encourage those on your threads, though I'd say, "Y'all!" lolgood discussion all
No it wasn't.I saw the Holy Spirit flying as a golden dove

Acts 2:3-4No it wasn't.
You may have seen something, but it wasn't the Spirit. Only Jesus had the Spirit come on Him in the form of a dove.
If the Spirit came toward you that close , He would have been there for a spefic reason other than being seen.
God doesn't do anything just to be seen.

You did not see the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit comes upon the believer, the believer is sealed unto the day of redemption. It is God's guarantee that you are his.
Complete nonsense. Why lie?As I stood alone in my motel room, I felt the weight of the Spirit slowly push me over backwards until I fell. It took about 15 seconds for me to reach the floor. As I lay there, a tongue of fire flew into the room and after it zig-zagged a few times, it crashed into my chest. I began to shake, a geyser went off inside of me, and tongues burst out of my mouth!
