hahahaha it's all good. it just struck me odd to learn someone knew it was corrected but still made a purpose of bringing something dead back to life. i am running a search in the Bible for what that is called and see if that is a normal Godly thing to do.

You made a purpose out of an innocent question. Calling another believer deceiver is not innocent and that was my actual concern
Do a search on calling other believers deceiver since that is the actual thing I brought up. And then do a search on what you call a false witness and it won't be watcher or watchman or anything even close, but it might help with your false alarms and nonsense ideas about what others post
This is a public forum and if you don't want people posting in a thread you are out of luck. Again, you are not a moderator and have no sway in when others respond or if they respond or what they do or don't say. You have the option of reporting a post you think breaks the rules here and that is about it
if you say something and then afterwards correct that because you made a mistake it is forgiven.
but if another person uses the mistake to claim that person is a false preacher knowing that mistake was corrected is misleading other readers.
what is it to mislead other people?
is that not deceiving them?

Thanks, but my husband and I live in a very nice house and are thankful to God for it. My post was connected to someone in another thread calling a believer who has been here a long time, deceiver, and the dude knows that. He chooses to make it about something else and is obviously living in his parents basement with nothing to do

Here is the post I am referring to when I stated believers need to stop the name calling:

Deceiver is a name for the devil. You have just called another Christian the devil. Not surprising at all. I was told just today that I commune with satan.
I believe that God takes note of those things and sooner or later, people who are so busy name calling and pointing fingers are going to feel the thrust of the finger of God in their own chest. Usually, though, people who call other believers such things, are the first to cry 'why me' . I've seen that principal play out a number of times.
Unbelievers come here as well. Wonder what they think.
Apparently this has caused great offence. I am not apologetic for this post and the entire nonsense engendered by the dude here, is apparently something he does when supper is not yet ready.
