A lot of people seeks signs because they are cut off from the Spirit to a large extent. If they truly knew the Spirit they'd have no need to conjure counterfeit signs and wonders; the Father and Son would dwell in them and they would be at peace.
A lot of people "experience" signs because they are connected to the Spirit... no counterfeits needed.

not everyone we lay hands on and pray for end up healed. which makes me ask why are some healed and others not when we did as Mark 16 instructs us to do? that's because maybe God did not want some of them healed.

You should probably stop while you're ahead.

So when He says in Mark 16: "they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall be well" what He really means is, they shall be well if I choose to honor my promise?

i believe the definition of healing is several things. we humans think they stop being sick. but maybe in some cases God see's death from suffering as healing. but we might think that's not what Mark 16 is about when according to God it could be.

Paul didn't heal Trophimus. but we know Paul prayed like he was suppose to and had the faith for him to be healed. so why did God choose not to heal him? i am positive Paul did it as if it were written in the Bible but still God did not heal Trophimus. so why did not God honor His Word because Paul would have done it the right way?

What I hear is you saying isn't that different from what I've heard a million times. People say signs and wonders are for today then they trot out all kinds of excuses for why they don't happen.

tell me why Paul was not able to heal Trophimus?
that might be why sometimes people aren't healed today.

wouldn't you agree Paul had faith and prayed like God instructed us to do?
so why did not God heal him?
