For several years, I was on secular forum. A very large number of them were either Atheists or Agnostics. They made fun of Christians for believing the Earth is flat. I was shocked! I was like, who in 2018 believes the Earth is flat? So I started doing some research and was shocked to discover that there are people who believe the Earth is flat, and most of them seemed to be people of faith. Then I just fell out of my chair! Not literally. I mean, goodness, people really are going down the tubes!

I watched part of a documentary on Netflix about flat earthers. Their numbers have grown

I only watched part of the documentary, up to the point where the flat earthers' attempts to
prove their theories failed one after the other. At the same time they pooh-pooh conventional
science, they borrow heavily from those very same scientists for data. Kind of funny, really...

They were probably trolling. Most Christians don't seem to be flat-earthers. So when you went looking for Christian flat-earthers on the Internet you found them. You can also find Christians who are anti-flat earth. You can find pretty much anything on the Internet. It's just confirmation bias. Most atheists aren't looking to represent people of faith fairly. Actually, if an atheist talks a lot about being atheist they are probably a bit militant in their beliefs.

Poll's in a thread are sort of puzzling in that if one vote's at the beginning then there is proof that they had their mind up before the discussion began and were not willing to listen. Should I vote now or wait and consider the things the other posters say on the matter?

What if there really are four winds - coming out from the four corners of the earth - that maintain the jet stream currents?
