Again and again, I agree.
But you not agree to be save must remain in Him
Again and again, I agree.
I don't want to sound overly critical because I have visited the USA and found Americans to be wonderful people in general. My concern is what on earth is the church (in general) teaching for those views to be prevalent. Or should I ask what is it NOT teaching? It doesn't seem to be a problem for America exclusively. My own country (Australia) is just as bad.
Only by those who are IN fellowship with the Lord and are FILLED with the Spirit. Do you understand the difference here, and HOW to be IN fellowship and be FILLED with the Spirit?
All are sin and short of the glory of GodYour question is too vague. Is the sinner here a believer or not?
HmmWhere do you get the idea that you "let" Jesus in? Rev 3:20 is about fellowship, not salvation.
They will never perish if they don't reject eternal life, will they? Why do you make Jesus a cosmic rapist who forces His love on people who decide the burden of sin is easier than the burden of the Cross?Jesus leads the "OSAS crowd" because He taught that those He gives eternal life shall never perish in John 10:28.
Why do you reject what Jesus taught and blaspheme His teaching?
OSAS comes from Jesus, not Satan's rebellion. You have been quite deceived.
That's a better reply.John 3:16
Whosoever believe will be save
We have free will
All you can do is believe that the only contribution
I don't believe we have to produce fruit
That what you think I believe
No I am not
After we open our heart and Jesus in
Jesus in us will produce the fruit we as a branch bear it
We only bear the fruit not produce
But if the branch not bear the fruit, it will be cut off trown into fire
That's a better reply.
The Holy Spirit generates the fruit within us. Without the Holy Spirit our works are in vain.
We only receive the Holy Spirit, Christ within, when we believe in Jesus.
None of this is from us, we do not take a part in our own salvation. We can be obedient to the gentle encouragement of the Holy Spirit or we can quench the power of the Holy Spirit.
Keep your eyes on Jesus and never look in the mirror.
Paul mentions the word, 'faith', 39 times in the letter to the Romans.
Romans 10:8-9
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Your answer was not based on the text (Romans 2) but is the interpretation that you were taught. He's writing to Christians in Rome which are "inward" Jews, despite being outward Gentiles. It's not according to race, but according to grace, right or wrong?
This is a distraction from the conversation. That's why Dispensationalism is such extra-Biblical bulldookey introduced to Christendom by none other than Jesuit-influenced, post-Reformation "Protestants" like Darby who callously dismissed the 1,200+ year wholesale slaughter of the saints by Papists as insignificant history simply because he wasn't around to see the infants ripped from their Protestant mother's wombs and their heads smashed against the rocks...and refuse to accept that the Papacy is the only institution which fits all the identifying marks of Antichrist in Scritpure.
Our part, our works are not the basis for our salvation. Our works have no role to play in the gift of salvation. You are deeply confused.I am not agree we not take part
It is free but we have to take part in the sense to open our heart and let Jesus in
I know it is small part, only to let Jesus in and confess like Paul say if you confess your sin and trust Him
So our part is confess and trust
I agree with what you wrote.I read your quote above, but have to criticize your whole view or approach to Christianity. Words on a paper do not tell the whole story, thus I cannot accuse you of anything except to warn you about God's requirements.
John 17:16 states (Jesus's prayer to his father) that we are in the world but not of the world. Paul in Corinthians tell us to come out of the world. Also Rev 18 tells us the same thing.
A very curious statement Jesus says to his father is in John 17:9
- I pray not for the world, but for those who you have given to me.
So we do not identify with the world, neither do we try to fix the world. We are opposites, like night and day and as Jesus says they hate us and if our lights are shining they will try to kill us.
The majority of so-called Christians will fall away in these last days. 2nd Thessalonians 2:11 says that God will send them a delusion so that they would believe a lie.
Our main occupation in this life is to remain uncontaminated from the world. Everything in this world is a lie and is an abomination to God. Very few will be left standing when Christ returns because of the fire that we will all have to pass through (except for those few that have kept the patience of God by keeping themselves from idols etc.)
If I was you I would not be worried about Americans or whoever, but about myself or rather yourself, as we will be going through the same thing that Job experienced to prove our love for God. Sanctification is key here and if you are not sanctified, you do not stand a chance.
As in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the end. Genesis 6:5. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
It is your call.
That's a better reply.

You disagree with what Paul wrote.Actually I am familiar with this doctrine
I was member of first baptis church for 26 years before I move 60 mile away from that church
That teaching is like you doctrine, but I am not agree
I also read bible myself and have my own interpretation
Our part, our works are not the basis for our salvation. Our works have no role to play in the gift of salvation. You are deeply confused.
Your salvation is a free gift given to those that believe, you do not earn it.
Your salvation is granted to you by the grace of God when you were dead in your sin.
You can remain faithful and obedient to Jesus but the gift of salvation is free and always by grace.
So many confused churches in Christianity.
It is free but need to believeYou disagree with what Paul wrote.
So salvation is not a free gift and is not granted to us by grace?
This is exactly backwards. To have fellowship you have to be saved. To be save you have to have fellowship with him
Since Paul commands believers to stop grieving (Eph 4:30) and stop quenching (1 Thess 5:19) the Spirit, do you think a believer can have fellowship with the Lord WHILE he/she is grieving/quenching the Spirit???Do you believe salvation without fellowship in Him?
Can you save yourself? You know better than that.
You are still in denial. That why Jesus say no fruit cut of trown into fire or hell
A believer has to be in fellowship with the Lord to bear fruit. Otherwise, that believer is grieving or quenching the Spirit.
This isn't hard to figure out.
No one gets saved by "letting Jesus in". In fact that's just vague words. They have NO meaning. To me to be save must let Jesus in and Jesus in us produce fruit, no fruit no salvation
I sure don't, because the Bible doesn't say that. Ever. But you not agree to be save must remain in Him
This answer shows that you do not understand anything about fellowship and being filled with the Spirit. To me if you in Him and Him in you mean His Spirit in you or fill you
Correct. But you didn't answer my question. All are sinners. Was the sinner in your question a believer or not?All are sin and short of the glory of God
Doesn't answer my question.Believer or non believer are dinner and not capable doing good without jesus
