Well joined a Christians dating site a few days back. I was pleasantly surprised it was not just full of scammers. I have had quite the response. For me age does not define me ,God does. But have had men my age want mainly women in their 20's and 30's . I guess it makes some feel young. I have trouble with even thinking about dating someone who is 5 years younger than me. I guess always preferred men older than myself. Anyways if you are wanting to get out there I can recommend the site. But I prayed about it before going on it, amen.

So if you believe men date younger women to feel younger, does that mean you prefer older men to feel older?
Men dating younger women isn't about "feeling younger". It's about those being the years most women will be most physically attractive. And let's be honest, they're also likely to be more sexually lose.
Also women in their 40s+ are more prone to having at least one divorce and come with baggage. The men in that age range may be in the same situation, but likely are less interested in serious relationships as a result. Hence the draw to younger women also less likely to be as staunch about serious relationships.

Note this is not a criticism about women 40+ but merely an explanation about the actual motivations of men preferring women in their 20/30s.

Mine was a guess I don't know for sure. But have a friend who told me that is why he prefers younger women. As for the rest SMH.

Actually from experience , the older women tend to be more liberal with sex then younger women

Just as an FYI...
The less intentional I was about dating and making romantic relationships, the more I focused on making friendship type relationships.

I did so much better. And when I resigned myself to being a bachelor and trying to dissuade any from being involved with me...I ended up happily married.

And where I did meet Mrs DB online on a Christian website...I was her friend first.

First time we talked over the phone I shared my testimony....because it tells a story of a wonderful God who irrationally loves me. And I know that story well.
So she shared her testimony.

Not the stuff that will ever make the Lifetime channel movie of the week....

But I wanted a friend out of her.
And today 12 years later she is my best friend.

Dating? I guess we did. But it was a friendship from the start...we just did stuff that was fun for both of us after it came up in conversation. We talked incessantly. We just liked each other's stories and tales and cracked jokes and just talking. We never went to a movie until late in the relationship because we would rather just talk to each other.

One day I did ask her if I was what she figured her husband would be like...you know...how she pictured things when she was young and she said "no, you are even better than I imagined" Exactly the same thing that I thought about her. We are always on the same page.

So....how do I explain for someone else to do what we did on a dating website?

I don't know. I know what happened. I know what my intentions were. I know what she is to me today.
