I wouldnt say scarred because that implies cutting but they do get battered and bruised and a lot of those wounds are internal

You cant see them as they are on the inside.
The bruise may fade but the impact on the inside does linger.

babies bones are delicate and still forming and if they are not treated gently it can have far reaching consequences. Cos nerve endings are sensitive on the inside.

something like a broken leg or arm is visible and you can actually see it and it does mend but there are other bones where people dont see that can get hurt and dislocated or fractured

the other thing is alcohol can cross into the brain and affects babies while mother is pregnant..or any kind of drugs actually.

I remember once had this massage and as the masseuse got to my tummy I was wincing. I had no idea why cos it never hurt before but shed reached the spot where my body still remmebered an old hurt that was buried in my layer of skin.

weird ay

but she was so gentle that she healed that body memory

Interesting concept of healing a body memory.

the other thing that works is EFT

google it

stands for emotional freedom technique

this is is you suffer from nervous conditions or have ever been traumatised. You just tap your body

Rather than tap I would probably have to zap my body.

no I dont think zapping works, well I have not heard of zapping therapy, but sounds like a quack therapy to me that would cost you as much as cigarettes cost

The therapy would tend to get expensive for sure.

can I ask what you think about vaping?

an old friend took it up (she used to smoke cigarettes and gave up for many years) and now its just annoying to go out with her cos now shes always taking off to have a puff. I have yet to confront her about it.

I dont know whether being a good friend is saying Im not going to hang out with you unless you stop, but then she might be an emotional basket case and start crying all the time. I think I can handle the crying at least she will let it out though

otherwise she may start binge eating on chocolate or something else. Im not sure what to do

:-(
shes not interested in church, Ive tried for many years to get her along though she is a christian it seems shes not going to talk much about the dark period of her life. she has lost a brother and had to give up a daughter. But I didnt know her when those tragic/traumatic things happened.

I figured it is because Im younger I dont feel she can really confess to me all her feelings about things like that, since those things didnt happen to me maybe? also she is married and maybe its the sort of thing she shares with her husband more...

Vaping is a bad thing. In some instances, the oils that provide the flavor can put tiny holes in the lungs. To be avoided at all costs.

Just be supportive as you can but do let her know how you feel. You are in a hard situation for sure.

well next time she puffs I will have to figure out what to say.

Like she will just go off and puff somewhere and leave me walking in her puffy wake, maybe I'll just keep walking faster and she'll have to run to keep up with me which will make her more out of breath, then when she says slow down I say sorry Im just getting some FRESH air.

do you think that will work?

do I say, well, you could try chewing a cinnamon stick? Or your nails?

I believe alot of muscular pain is emotionally based such as anger, hurt, unforgiveness etc stored in the body presenting itself as muscular etc. In fact I think most of our physical pains are emotionally caused.

Your plan sounds viable. At least you won't be breathing her second-hand smoke.

You could very well be correct. If you have a sense of well-being and contentment in your current station in life you probably won't hurt as much as normal. I agree about the removal of all negative thoughts, spiritual or otherwise. That stuff will erode your insides like a cancer. You provided sound counsel.

The time to support starts the moment she decides to quit. That cinnamon stick idea has merit. At least it would freshen the breath.

Sometimes the direct approach is the best course of action.
