Where does it say we live in heaven? Yeah, no, it doesn't. The New Jerusalem
comes down from heaven to the new earth. It's a Biblical Truth.
Heaven is not even the name of Gods dwelling place but it refers to the highest plain. Above the blackness of the night sky.
We know it as the kingdom of GOD.
So you are absolutely right but wrong to think of harps and clouds.
I believe Ezekiel mesured it out and tells of what it is made of and so forth.
Jesus said "in my fathers house are many mansions i go and prepare a place for you.
In the exampled prayer jesus taught....thy kingdom come..
Paul said ....absent from the body present with the Lord. So where is the Lord now? The right hand of the father.
So my sorta purple friend when its time for your dirt nap your taking a trip wheather you like it or not.😂😂🤣

Here is Dr. Kurt Wise....
He explains what the pre-flood pre-fall world was like. (As well as how things changed.)

It's a very interesting listen.

Heaven would be a boring place if it consisted of harps and clouds. Sounds more like that other place.
What? You don't want to be one of the Borg? Resistance is futile....

God created us so that we could live. God created ALL life.

God then granted me salvation and I have had a more full life since that time.

I don't think that heaven is going to be boring at all.

Isa 2:4 . . Neither shall they learn war any more.

That's bad news for folks obsessed with martial arts, and bad news for their
favorite sensei and their dojos too.

Isa 2:4 . .They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears
into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation

In one of his speeches; former US President John Kennedy said:

“Every man, woman and child lives under a nuclear sword of Damocles,
hanging by the slenderest of threads, capable of being cut at any moment
by accident or miscalculation or by madness.”

The world has become a powder keg. There's easily enough nukes on hand
that if detonated, would likely send us all back to more primitive times.

In a famous comment, physicist Albert Einstein said:

“I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World
War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”

In all my 78 years, I have yet to live even one decade free of the fear of
war; but I expect to in Messiah's kingdom.

The Bible is clear.
True. Jesus paid the sin debt. We are saved by grace through faith in His shed righteous blood, and not by works, including baptism.

Apparently that is not clear enough for you...

There is a growing concern here in the USA about crime and prison overpopulation.
Well; the good news is: Messiah's kingdom will have no penal systems because He's
going to rule in strict compliance with the law of God wherein there are no prisons.

Fines? Yes. Reparations? Yes. Lashes? Yes. Burning? Yes. Hanging? Yes. Stoning?
Yes. Excommunication? Yes. But jails and prisons? No; confinement will not be an
option. Justice will be swift, punishment will be summary; and there will be no appeals.
People deserving capital punishment will get it that very day; no languishing on a death
row.

Isa 9:6-7 . . For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government
shall be upon his shoulder . . . Of the increase of his government there shall be no end,
upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with
judgment and with justice.

In our world, only the rich can afford justice. Tort law is especially unfair. Large multi
billion dollar businesses can afford to stretch lawsuits out indefinitely till their less
fortunate opponents are financially ruined trying to keep up. That won't happen in
Messiah's world.

Ps 72:2-4 . . He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.
He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall
break in pieces the oppressor.

In my country, too many judges at the State and Federal levels are political appointees,
resulting in a very large percentage of their opinions reflecting bias. It should be
interesting to see how Messiah goes about regulating the world to keep biased judges
out of its judicial systems. (cf. Psalm 82)

Wrong!

You need to stop playing with alluring art while doing the study of scriptures.
Concentrate on the meaning of God's words.....which I see you are challenged by.

I strongly disagree. Magenta's graphics are one of the few things going on
around here that break up the flow of militant comments with an intermission
of calm and beauty. I much prefer her art work than many of the emoticons
defacing the forums with their in-your-face graffiti.

Every single person here believes they are right according to the Word.
I don't anymore. :( There was a time in my young life that I thought everything in the word was straightforward, but as I listened to my audio bible more and more, and listened and read other people's conclusions on salvation etc, I started to realize that things must not be as straightforward as I thought. The Christian Denominations don't even agree on how one must be saved! If they can't get that right then you can't expect them to get anything right. What we got is a bunch of people sitting around looking into the theology of salvation. Always wondering how does it work. Do we need to get baptized too??? I'm not asking any of you that question! I'm just saying it because it's true. You got some Churches that say all you need is to believe on Jesus and then you will be saved. Then you got other Churches that say, believe on Jesus and then get baptized, then you will be saved. Then you got Churches that say that God picks who will be saved. And you got Churches who say anyone who hears the gospel can come. After salvation, things get very interesting too. You got the once saved always saved crowd, once your in the family your in the family. Then you got the conditional security crowd, those that think they need to be very careful not to sin too much or they might end up in hell. Then they debate over if one can loose their salvation verses maybe you just give it up. It's no wonder why people aren't telling others "God loves you". Why would they tell anyone that "God loves them" when they aren't even sure if they are completely right with God themselves? I think we are in a big mess. We spend way too much time fighting among ourselves.

You are on the right path....
(I get so delighted when I see someone finally on it)

And I can help...because I had the exact same question.

And the question you need to ask yourself is what criteria would God really use to determine if you were one of His or not?

And the answer is if you become as much as possible in behavior to become like Jesus.

Jesus's behavior and demeanor had some key characteristics and He spoke about these things at length...

Kindness, mercy/grace, forgiveness, generosity and purity.

There's no law against these things...and if you do these things in God's name you will be recognized as a Christian...giving you an identity in Christ. Notice what is absent....the finger wagging and brow beating. Those things are actually characteristics of an accuser which is synonymous with Satan.

Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.

Jesus wasn't kidding about it either.
