No, Jesus didn't say that. That is just your opinion about what He said.

If Jesus really did mean that, then did Jesus really mean this:

John 5:24 -
“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.

John 10:28 - I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.

So, if He mean a believer without fruit gets thrown into hell, then what did He mean in these 2 verses, which, btw, are very clear.
What is your opinion on john 15:6?
Killer no need repent as long as believe Jesus as God go to heaven ?
Why Jesus say no fruit thrown to fire
Fire mean hell or heaven?

John 8:36 plus Romans 8:2 If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death.

To be save one must believe Jesus, what believe mean? Mean believe Hus teaching, not only believe that Jesus is God but also believe what is His teaching about how to save

To be save must believe/ faith
Noah believe what God say about the coming float then do work 1000 hours to build an ark
Christian believe what Jesus say in Luke 10 than do love God and neighbor

It is lie if a man say have faith in Jesus but hate god and nrighbor

In Luke 10 a lawyer ask Jesus how to be save and Jesus tell him how to be save
That is to love God mean obey God and love your neighbor, not rob your neighbor, love mean help not kill

25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. 6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ 7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ 9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. 11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’ 12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’ 13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
(Matthew 25:1-13)

By the way...the lamps represent the Holy Spirit!!
the lamps are not the Holy Spirit, the oil is -- and the foolish had no oil.
they never had any oil.
they thought they could buy it.

such is the way with all who think to 'purchase' salvation with their own works and willpower: they have no oil, and the Lord doesn't know them. salvation is not 'for sale'

Depends which commandment set that Paul is ultimately referring to?

There is the law (Torah) which contains many commandments.

There is also the wider definition of the law, Torah plus the Prophets, which contains even more commandments.

There are the new commandments which Jesus gave, commonly called the law of Christ.

So which law set is Paul referring to in the letter to the Romans?
The question was what were the commands for? Salvation or blessings and reward? Do you have an answer?

If you are honest with yourself, you must admit, this parable shows Two types of Christians.
you honestly do not seem to have the same definition of "Christian" as the Bible does.

no one whose trust is in the Lord will ever be ashamed, and those who depart from us prove they were never one of us.
The Evil One has sown tares among the wheat. tares are not wheat who changed their nature; tares are tares and have never been wheat at all. tares reveal themselves as tares in time to have never been wheat in the first place; they never had the substance of wheat and are nothing but tares disguised as wheat.
do you disagree?

perhaps you ought to tell us your personal definition of what a 'Christian' is?
that would help us come to some kind of mutual understanding that we can proceed from.

That Jesus say
John 15
6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.
Do you understand the difference between being saved and being IN fellowship with the Lord?

You only read 1 verse without context
Read verse 27
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

Jesus sheep listen or obey Him in other word His sheep do His will, its mean repent from sin, before bank Robert now work in mcdonald
There is NOTHING in v.27 that creates a CONDITION for receiving eternal life. That was clearly stated in John 5:24; those who believe possess eternal life. That's it. Do you believe Jesus?

Goliath said:
But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

Correct!

But Goliath misquoted the statement of Jesus. He said "I NEVER knew you". That would prove beyond any doubt that the crowd in Matt 7:21-23 had NEVER believed.
@Goliath was quoting Matthew 25 - in which the word 'never' isn't found.
so it wasn't a misquote.

but Matthew 7 must be put together with it: how many times does God say "I do not know you?"
all those times must be placed together to understand what He means when He says it, just like any other thing in scripture.
that is one of the basics of how to study the Bible. common things have correlation and commonality.
how can omniscience be ignorant of anyone? Matthew 7 informs Matthew 25. it is the same Word.

so when Christ, The Bridegroom comes and says "depart from Me; I do not know you" -- that is equivalent to Matthew 7.
i put "never" because never is implied by study of the scripture.

Since you believe that John 15 is about going to hell for lack of fruit, then what do YOU think Jesus was saying in John 5:24 and 10:28?

Killer no need repent as long as believe Jesus as God go to heaven ?
Every believer needs to repent and confess every sin they are aware of. 1 John 1:9

Are you aware that King David raped and murdered? As a SAVED person.

Why Jesus say no fruit thrown to fire
Do you understand figures of speech? Metaphors? Seems that you do not. Jesus was speaking to Jews, who were very proud of their heritage that they were God's chosen people. So to be "cast off" would have been a very horrible thing to them.

Fire mean hell or heaven?
No, it does not.

1 Cor 3:14,15
14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.
15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

Do you understand these verses?

And note: v.15 SAYS "the builder WILL SUFFER LOSS, but yet WILL BE SAVED.

The context is fire applied to the believers works.

Please don't ignore my question and then go ask one yourself. That is an insult. Are you questions somehow better than mine?

If you want a discussion with me, then please answer mine and THEN I will answer yours.

You don't get to ask ALL the questions, while ignoring ALL of my questions.

Your refusal to answer my questions demonstrates your inability to answer them.

my fault -- i alluded to Matthew 7 when i responded, without explaining that chapter 7 comes before chapter 25 -- so you didn't know why i was giving him 7 after he gave me 25

=]

sometimes i write a lot and it seems like no one reads it. so i try to be short-winded, and it backfires lol

If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.
I think you misunderstood this verse

The builder is Christian
Build a house, the house is ministry

Example
A missionary go to preach the gospel than some people convert

A missionary in that context is the builder
A church is house
Than persecution come to that church and all believer denied Jesus mean will deny by Jesus in front of Hus father mean not save
It mean the house burn
But missionary still save because he not deny jesus

On john 15:6 branch is the Christian not the ministry
No fruit go to fire
In this context fire mean hell

I don say salvation by work but more like Jesus explain save people bear the fruit of love or go to eternal punishment as say in Matt 25
Not helping the needy go to hell
Onece again is doesn't mean save by work but save people have Jesus in and bear loving work

Matt 25
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Let me say it again
Matt 25 do not mean salvation by work helping the poor, salvation is by faith not by work, but real faith will bear loving work

Jesus say depart from me go to eternal punishment because when I am hungry you not feed me
Do not mean go to hell because not doing work helping the poor but not helping the poor demonstrate fake faith or no faith

Salvation by faith not work but real faith bear good work

In other word good work is product of salvation

Impisibke a man say have faith but not have love

Matthew 25 takes place right after the Great Tribulation and is completely different from the Great White Throne Judgment because,,,

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. (Joh 5:24)
