I am handling it better these days lol

but its still a pain when someone does that to you, makes you a scapegoat etc.
Being falsely accused is basically the story of my life.

In fact, just yesterday, my General Manager at work reprimanded me for something that I not only didn't do, but is also totally against my character and work ethic, especially as a Christian. When I work, I literally work as if I'm working for Jesus, and he is watching.

"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;" (Colossians 3:23)

Anyhow, my General Manager gave me a several-page printout of instructions to take home with me last night, and I'm supposed to be reading them today on my day off so I don't commit this same infraction in the future that I never committed in the first place. And this is after I rightly and honestly told him that I not only didn't do it, but also that I've pointed out to other co-workers many times in the past who actually has been committing the infractions.

And then, of course, there's that whole blow-up with my daughter (even though she claims that I'm not her father) last night. A few more "nuggets" from her outburst against me are the following:

1. I'm selfish (nothing could be further from the truth, and especially in relation to my dealings with my children).
2. I'm a bum (even though I work like a dog).
3. I'm trying to manipulate my way back into my ex's life in order to be reconciled.

This third accusation would almost be funny if it wasn't so delusional in nature. In reality, I LITERALLY fell on my knees, lifted my hands up to heaven, and thanked and praised God the day that my ex divorced me, and I'm beyond content being free from that whole ordeal which I barely survived to begin with.

Anyhow, people will believe what they want to believe. This is why we always need to sincerely and humbly look up to get God's assessment of every situation. If we're justifiably accused of a wrong-doing, then we need to humbly and quickly repent. However, if we're unjustifiably accused, then we need to pray for our accusers and just move on. In all honesty, nowadays (it wasn't always this way...I had to do a lot of repenting myself to get to this place), when somebody falsely accuses me (and it happens pretty much daily), I honestly feel sorry for them, and not for myself. After all, in reality, they've done me no real harm. Sure, I might suffer something related to this temporal life (and I have many times in the past), but they cannot harm my eternal destiny or my standing with God. At the same time, however, they're going to have to give an account for all of their wrong-doings one day if they haven't first truly repented of the same. THAT is what truly concerns me.

He doesn't have them. He's more of a bipedal type with a tough exoskeleton.

When I get a flamethrower I hear that can keep him at bay for a bit, maybe even drive him back into the vents for a short time... Fuel is of course limited.
Someone wise once told me that you have to know your limitations. Still, regardless of the fuel consumption, you will probably burn some hairy appendages of the alien creature. Make you feel warm and fuzzy inside while he smolders for a bit. I guess it really comes down to your tolerance for pain and, of course, how fast you can run.

I have pondered that passage many times. It brings me great comfort.

I can kinda understand the whole will smith oscar slap punch thing

though I wouldnt go swear or punch someone in retaliation

I would probably walk away before I'd do anything in anger or say um can I have a word with you. That was not on.
or do the awkward silence.

or just ask that person why are you mocking
but on things like a forum I just can put a person on ignore if they keep on doing it after Ive told them to stop

sometimes people just say things that are provoking to get a reaction.
its like dogs ok I hear you barking but to me thats just noise, You can just shut up now. Im not going to bark back. And just walk straight past

This gets my goat! I just heard that they're changing the name of monkey pox! I'd rather hear monkey than COVID! The name COVID is absolutely devoid of humor, whereas just thinking about monkeys makes me smile. They should call it goat pox because it's really got mine!

Oh yes... the classic authoritarian tactic of the crisis that never goes away.

I was talking with someone today about the Blood of Jesus and it came to my mind what gets my goat big time. When I see a painting or depiction of Jesus on the cross and there's a trickle of blood coming out of His side wound. He had His beard pulled, a crown of thorns pushed down into His head, the nails in His palms and feet and the 39 lashes. I find this so wrong even though I know the artists probably just don't have a clue🤦‍♀️

Imagine having the crude iron spikes of the day hammered through your hands and feet, crushing bone. Then having the cross lifted up and dropped into the hole. And then hanging there.
Some say that The Passion Of The Christ was too graphic. I think it was worse. And then He asked the Father to forgive them! His goodness is beyond my ability to comprehend. Lord, I'm Yours...period.

Some say that "trickle" of blood from being pierced by the centurion's spear was the last drops of blood being shed...

Right, it's that they downplay the extent of all the punishment for all our sins, pains, sorrows and diseases He bore for us. Almost all the artists get it wrong and I would love to get with any of them, still alive, and tell them to watch The Passion of the Christ as Joecoten said, hey JC same initials, lol.

Yeah, that movie showed in graphic detail the brutality Jesus willingly suffered for our sake.

True story: the man who told me Who Jesus was wanted to take me to that movie on our first date.
I was not a believer then, and had heard/read some of how much violence was graphically shown.
So I suggested we see Return of The King instead :D Which we did. I was baptized later that year :)

its not got my goat (I dont actually have a goat)

but was finishing reading 'Desperate Women of the Bible' and the last chapter and the author was reimagining the story of the sinful woman who poured expensive perfume on Jesus and washed his feet with her hair

the way the author imagined it was this sinful woman was going shopping for this expensive perfume that cost a weeks wages

but...I was thinking it probably did NOT happen like that. That expensive perfume was more likely given to her by an extremeley rich client and she chose to give it to Jesus.
Because who spends their entire weeks wages on perfume and then has NOTHING left? She would have gone hungry or evicted for not paying her bills!

I once knew someone who would be condescending & manipulative towards me then would flip a switch immediately & act like I attacked them when all I did was ask in different ways “why are you being like this towards me”. It happened so many times in plenty of different ways but the core foundation was always the same.

The fact that many have been trying to warn the world that the NWO pushers are about to try to lock down the world again - using 'Monkey Pox' as an excuse - may possibly have something to do with that...?

(But, I don't know for sure - I haven't looked into it.)

I heard the name is said to be stigmatizing.
