“[Christ] In Whom we have Redemption Through His BLOOD,
The Forgiveness of sins, According To The Riches Of His Grace”
(Eph. 1:7)

Precious friend(s), Please Be Very RICHLY Encouraged and Edified:

"
...A businessman near St. Louis recently received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
and was rejoicing in the knowledge of sins forgiven. Lately, however, he has
become conscious of sin creeping back into his Christian life. Haunting fears
of an angry God keep torturing his tender conscience as he wonders if God still
Accepts him...

...As with so many themes in the Bible, the failure to “rightly divide the Word of
Truth” has led sincere believers in Christ to inconsistent positions on forgiveness.
They say, “Thank God that He has forgiven me all my sins but....” Then they begin
to list conditions which they believe they must meet if God is to accept them...

GRACE And Peace...
Our view of God is so important to a correct understanding of forgiveness.

For the unbeliever one sin condemns them to eternal hell fire. God deeply loves the unbelieving sinner, but his justice demands payment for sin, and when there is no redeemer/saviour, then it takes only one sin and the wages of sin = eternal death.

But for the believer who is trusting in Jesus Christ and his finished work at Calvary, the justice of God has been completely satisfied by the death of Jesus, the Lamb of God. The blood of Jesus ongoing (I John 1:7,9) cleanses the believer from any and all sins that he may commit. But what the Devil will try to do is bring "haunting fears of an angry God" who writes down our sins and says he will send us to hell! This is not true! When we trust in Jesus, we have ongoing complete forgiveness through the blood of the Lamb! PTL!
