Do you believe that you belong to God?
That's irrelevant. My relationship with Him isn't the topic of the thread.
Do you believe that you belong to God?
My eyes. Yikes. I have to wear magnifying glasses now when reading, typing, or designing. I never used to have to...Some of us don't have YOUR eyes lol...
OSAS suggests that, after receiving Christ and the Holy Spirit, nothing can take away our salvation. So, I guess Jesus was just joking when He said, "But then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from Me, you who practice evil.’ Mathew 7:23
That's irrelevant. My relationship with Him isn't the topic of the thread.
How can we know we have eternal life if we cannot know in the present that we are already saved? No one can "lose" their salvation since salvation isn't complete until we die or the Lord comes. We can only succeed or fail to finish the race.
Jesus said it is finishedNo one can "lose" their salvation since salvation isn't complete until we die or the Lord comes. We can only succeed or fail to finish the race.
did you catch the part about "never" knowing them?
He is talking about people who were never saved.
I see where you are going with this and it almost works except for the this one thing- it would require for God to divorce us and it would require for salvation to be based on our own merit not ont eh blood of ChristCorrect, because we still have to run the race and endure to the end. We must hold the faith until the end.
Think of it like this in an analogy. A husband and wife, they have a relationship. They are supposed to stay married unto the end and be faithful unto the end. If the wife is obedient and faithful they will stay together. However say after a few years the wife is totally rebellious, a whore even, literally unfaithful, and so the husband having no pleasure in her divorces her. Can that woman say then she is once married always married and enjoy the benefits thereof? Or will the unfaithful and rebellious woman be utterly cast away into outer darkness?

But Jesus said
John 6:37-40
All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
He will never cast out... this doesn't sound like he would divorce us and as for us being unfaithful we are all unfaithul every day in some way or another we sin in one way or another and in his kingdom not even one sin is allowed which is why we are covered in his sons blood so that it is not by our own merit we enter the kingdom but by the blood of Christ.
We do not own the deed to our salvation that deed was paid for and bought by the blood of Christ we cannot lose what we do not own for i ti snot in our hands to lose to begin with it is in the fathers hands and we cannot snatch it from his hands or we are thieves
hmm... no I did not but I would assume it would be the jew and gentile?Do you know there are two women that represent the spiritual kingdoms yet?
We are saved by grace instantaneously upon placing our faith in Jesus Christ and are sealed with His blood. If one is to lose their faith they are a kin to a sheep that has become lost, and Jesus states He will leave the 99 sheep in order to find the one that has become lost. We cannot lose our salvation because Jesus will not lose a single one who belongs to Him.I am having a little trouble following your point. Are you saying that one can change their mind up to the point of being sealed? However, once sealed, they cannot give up the faith? Or that they can give up the faith and still be saved.
When you’re sealed your desire is to do good to glorify God. Look at yourself at this very moment; you’re acting like a DB but it doesn’t threaten your salvation. That’s grace.Definitely have some hardcore
Wow. So once I'm sealed I'm free to do anything I want. Hey, I like the sound of that. I don't know anyone who wouldn't want some of that.
You acknowledge free will. That’s good.Actually, after receiving the Holy Spirit you can reject the Holy Spirit completely.
The great news of the Gospel, my brother, is that Jesus roams the Earth in search of those who are roaming the Earth.God knew his flock from the foundation of the Earth, and His flock recognizes His voice.
The rest are just "those who roam the Earth"
You said exactly, which means you don’t think it’s important. Again, reading comprehension is essential. I’m starting to see why you many not get along with others.I answered you as bluntly and directly as I could. I said Exactly, meaning Yes, to your question of thinking it is important to be with other believers. How do you not understand?
Your relationship with God is the whole point of this thread...That's irrelevant. My relationship with Him isn't the topic of the thread.
And those who recognize His voice will follow. The great news of the Gospel, my brother, is that Jesus roams the Earth in search of those who are roaming the Earth.
Do you get the feeling our site has become an atheist trolls magnet?
hmm... no I did not but I would assume it would be the jew and gentile?
