Google sees literally everything you do if you use it
online btw
so they can sell you stuff, we know

Im not much of a fan of e-commerce

if the internet just stayed free for nerds and geeks, it would be fine, but no, business grads had to find a way to make money of it.

During Trump's re-election campaign, he consistently broke demographic attendance records across the board from coast to coast...

However, in most liberal cities, stuttering basement-dwelling Bernie O'Biden got more black votes than Obama... and in many cases, he got more black votes than registered black voters... and still takes pride in receiving the most votes of any president in history...

I sure would love to see Rudy Giuliani's proof, instead of all this crap about O'Biden Jr's laptop...

We nerds and geeks are allowing it to happen, because it is easier to pay for the infrastructure by watching an advertisement than by shelling out from our own pockets.

Shhhh! Just be quiet and let it happen. We don't need them catching on. ;)

I'm about furious as I can get with these engineers...

3.5 kilowatts per ton of airhandling....(ac units)

12.5 tons between two units. That's a max of 44 kilowatts...

I have a 400 Amp three phase service @208 volts. That's 144.1 KW of power coming in.
Saying we need 216 kw of power....(costing us an extra month of delay and $60k)

I'm like...WHAT FOR? We don't need it. Here's the math...how on earth you are coming up with the addition needs is a mystery to me. (And everyone else who actually knows)

We aren't made of money...

1Acre = 4840 square yards

1 sq mile = 640 acres
Land mass of planet Earth = 57,506,000 sq miles
Land mass of USA = 3,546,875 sq miles (6% of total land)
Planet Earth is 70% water
The total surface area of Earth is about 197 million square miles
The USA = 1.8% of the total surface area of planet Earth
Can Mass be measured in sq ft? I thought it was a weight?

Mass is size irrespective of weight. Weight is a measure of force, whereas mass
is a measure of inertia. Many people use these two words interchangeably.
Mass of an object tells about the total number, types and density of atoms
contained in the object. Mass is often measured by how much an object
weighs, however, it is not weight. Mass is the amount of matter in a material,
while weight is a measure of how the force of gravity acts upon that mass.

Thanks, search engine :giggle:

See...
When a guy finishes engineering school he says, "Now I'm an injunere, enjinear, injan....I'm just good at maths"

So does that mean it can be measured by sq ft? I understand it's not exactly weight, but it's not distance is it? Since it's a measure of force wouldn't it be better measured by lbs per sqft? I am learning here :)

Weight is a function of gravity...

What something weighs on earth is not the same weight as it is on Mars or Jupiter.

Y'all are confusing me, because I thought mass was weight also, and was told it's force not weight. I am going to my old math and science teachers on this one.

Don't worry too much about it...
A pound of feathers weighs as much as a pound of steel. It's just that a pound of steel takes up less volume.

One cubic inch of gold has the same mass as one cubic inch of chocolate... but the chocolate tastes better :geek:

That is an excellent explanation/comparison! And I cannot imagine how many feathers it would take to make a pound :giggle:

You're still not doing the math....
"1.8%".... That 1.8% is enough space for a 2000 sq/ft "family dwelling" for every "singe person" on this planet, and a 2839 sq/ft yard. That's a nice little garden wouldn't you say? Not to mention, there's still 98.2% of the ENTIRE EARTH left over.

God made us in His image and gifted us with a small portion of His intellect to discern the Truth. Personally, I enjoy exercising that intellect and thanking God for clarity.

The world is a lot bigger than your TV screen...
Math was the only thing preventing me from attending college as a freshman in highschool, instead of high school. I was at college level in everything but math, and since it was only one subject the school board met with my teachers because most didn't know what to do since they had nothing left to teach me but the school board decided that since I wasn't advanced in math too I couldn't go to high school for one subject and attend college for the rest.

I was upset about that, I wanted to attend college. So instead all my teachers said that I should just write essays about anything I wanted and turn it in for my school work. I spent every subject either in the library or playing chess with my history teacher - except for math... Lol

I graduated a year and a half early and am still horrible at math.

And to continue the ongoing saga of teaching electrical and HVAC engineers their own math...

We got up on the roof today and took down model and serial numbers....

And looked at the specifications.
I was being very generous with 44 KVA. It's only 27. How on earth the lugs even hold the 6 awg wire is something of a mystery at this point. A 225 Amp breaker is designed with lugs to hold the wire that is bigger than most 2,000 sq foot home's main service entrance cable.

So....and looking at the disconnect beside the units they were both fused the same...fuses too big so they wouldn't blow no matter what...IOW a huge fire hazard waiting to happen.

And they are basing our electrical needs based on the over sized existing breakers. And we have paid them $5,000 to do an accurate assessment.

We are as hot as my oven cranked on highest temp possible.
They need to watch out...my partner is out for blood at this point.
