We must always include His teaching that He had the other Flock, aside from the Original, and that He was going to bring that other to become part of the Original.
This occurred after our blessed Lord was crucified.. That other Flock being all who would come to the Father by embracing the Son.

So all who come to believe Jesus Yeshi Yah are praisers of God,*Judah). For one is not a Jew who is one on the outside but who is one from within. This is not a denomination, it is simply what all who believe God are.

I don't believe there is "extra-Biblical" revelation. The canon of Scripture is closed.

However............

I DO believe in illumination, where the Spirit reminds us of what God's Word already says. In many cases, He opens our eyes in a sense to different passages of Scripture so that we understand them in ways we perhaps haven't before. But again, the Spirit, being God, will always show us what those passages mean as God intended them. He will NEVER tell us something that God has not already spoken.

We should always approach Scripture using exegesis, not eisegesis.
Yes Notme, I too believe in illumination, where the Spirit of Truth reminds us of what Jesus said and what is to come. And that the same Spirit will continue to lead us into all truth. Jesus said this I believe. John 14.
I'm confused by your statement though. 'He will NEVER tell us something that God has not already spoken.' Just wondering how you came to this conclusion?

Your misguided assumptions don’t make you right either.
If I had made misguided assumptions, your comment would be valid instead of merely irrelevant.

Your misguided assumptions are based on the fact that there are many denominations saying “I’m right”.

Clearly you haven't spent much time around children.
Children only choose to lie when they do something wrong.
If children say they see strange events that no one else can imagine and are hard to believe, it must be true.

I will grant that a child's description of a strange event may be less likely made-up, but children also may have more difficulty distinguishing reality from fantasy and/or deception.

There are no fantasy in this world.
Have you ever experienced any fantasy?
I Never. Everything I've been through, including dreams, is real.

What about the images you see on TV? Real, or fantasy? It's not as simple as you portray.

I learned about the technology of film production for a long time, so I can clearly distinguish the difference between them. People think it is a real picture, and I will see the process of making it.

Yes these guys (Paul and the apostles) did refer to what was previously revealed to others. But what were they (Moses and the prophets)referring to when they received their revelation?
“refer to what was previously revealed to others.”

no they refer to what was written but hidden in the ot it wasn’t understood until Christ came fulfilling it all

it’s meaning wasnt made known before

“Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:1-2‬ ‭

it was written in the scriptures but Christ is who brought the fulfillment and revelation to understand paul and the apostles received understanding of what was already written

“Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:45-47‬ ‭

the scriptures were established long before but Christ is who gives revelation to understand the scriptures because it’s about him and his gospel

Paul

“separated unto the gospel of God, (which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)”

Peter

“But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; and he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:18-21, 24‬ ‭

the prophets were foretelling the gospel all along but no one had understanding there was no revelation

“but their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:14-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the old testsment is to see the words but not understand what they are talking about the new is when all those words start making sense the new testsment is revelation pored out into the pages of the New Testament prophets and apostles

Revelation isn’t to create something new it is to reveal what is already there but is hidden or covered over so no one sees it , you then reveal it to people what was always written but hidden is now made known in Christ and the gospel

Abraham saw Christ's day and was glad. Job also knew he would see His redeemer in the flesh... post mortem.

Job 19:25-27a
This is not to say they understood God's full plan of redemption, though :)

Job 19:25-27a
:)
yep the prophets all saw things to at they didn’t understand until Christ sent revelation

“how that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:3-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Abraham had the gospel preached in advance to him but it was this

“And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Abraham is given a mystery nothing of how this will happen but just that all nations would be blessed through Abraham and his seed. There’s no revelation to that but Paul is giving revelation of that in chapter 3 of Galatians paul is talking about Old Testament happenings but he’s revealing this as Christian doctrine now revealed what it really meant

Abraham also received his son from death figuratively as a figure of what Christ would later do when he offered isaac and God saved Isaac

“By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:17-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s all hidden there’s no mention of Gods son dying for sin it’s hidden in there though but the Old Testament is like this it makes a foundation like this vision

Jacob saw Jesus here and saw a vision of something later to be revealed

“And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; and thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭28:12-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

you see the gospel preached to Abraham again “in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.”

But before that you see “behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac:”

revelation comes in here giving us understanding of what Jacob saw he saw the gospel but it was hidden not made understandable yet

“And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:51‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We now understand who was at the top of the golden ladder , whomis the golden ladder and how heaven would be made open to mankind it’s revealed in e New Testament what was foretold in the Old Testament mysteries and visions or like this

“I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.”
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭7:13-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This is of course a prophetic promise of christs kingdom his entry into heaven before Gods throne and his kingdom and lordship over all creation. But again the revelation of it all is found in the gospel in the New Testament revelation

there we find out who went to heaven in the clouds , who is seated in the throne of the eternal Kingdom how to enter in with him ect

the old testsment is laying for us a pattern and showing us mysterious visions beginning a theme to look for Gods promises later like he offers them “ one day a son will be born “ later the son is revealed

I will set up an etrrnal kingdom , later the kingdom comes . I will wash away the sins of the people in one day , later Jesus does for sins, the sin of man will descend into heaven in a cloud , later Jesus ascends into heaven in the clouds

the old and New Testament create one story in the old you hear vague references about it see visions that don’t make much sense see figures and patterns this creates a hope for the future of what God will do

later he fulfills it as he said he would the revelation is when he fulfills something he foretold and makes it plain and known

now we don’t have to try to figure out visions and figures we have the reality made known revealed for all to believe or refuse and spread into all nations is the revelation of Gods word in earth
